I'm a couple of thousand XP from level 20. Once there I might just grind up all the rubbish for candies and evolve the best ones.

The FastPokeMap you download as an app is not the same thing and does nothing at all. I made that mistake at first.

I have a bookmark to the web page as an icon on my phone now So it looks like an app but isn't.

Oh wow thank you - got it working now! Feels a bit like cheating but I'm one oddish away from vileplume and haven't seen one for about a week so at least now if I see one nearby I can go and grab it!

It's not cheating IMO. not least because I have learned my local spawn points from it so even when it was down I have had a good chance of finding things shown nearby.

All my eggs are 5km ones so I hadn't realised that they now came in more than one colour. Thursday is pokeball farming day so I might get to see colours other than orange. I've switched buddy to Dratini so I've got some mileage on it before the double candy comes in.

Just had a 10k egg hatch to a Pinsir, which I'm happy about as I'm the first in our household to get one of those.

About this bonus Halloween XP stuff, if I'm planning an evolve session should I just make the most of the bonus and save my lucky egg for another time?

tummy I think the 10k eggs are 5k buddies. So omanyte, kabuto, dratini, evee, lapras, snorlax, chansey, aerodactyl, magmar, hitmonchan, hitmonlee. That's from memory so could be wrong!

I hatched a lickitung this morning. What a perverted little monster that is! I'm now up to 106 on the pokedex and grinding towards level 26.

The update seems rather unstable. It keeps losing the gps signal and I've had loads of critters running away - more than usual.

I've also had a lot of them vanishing in a puff of smoke.

I'm feeling very proud of my Pidgeot today, he took down a Machamp of over 2000cp. The tips about type advantage have really helped.

I can tell its half term. Failing to hold local gyms more than half an hour - team Valor have come back out of nowhere - and I've just been kicked out of one of "my" gyms. Will have that back later if possible!

Well, I'm off hunting Snowdogs the next couple of days, so that should rack up my buddy candy nicely. Friends may be a bit miffed with me having my phone on permanently though, but I'll have to hop out of PG for the Snowdog app and photos of the dogs.

According to the silph road sub-reddit it's 26th US west coast time. I read 1am UK time so I have a tonne of transfers ready to go, incubators lined up and an eggsecute buddy with only a few km more to go.

Super nerdy question but what is the maximum amount of Pokemon you can evolve in half hour?

I've changed my buddy to dratini already. Might as well make some advances on the 55 candy I have. I've also not transferred any out since yesterday and will be doing in the morning.

Re evolves in half hour - I can manage about 70-80! Takes a lot of concentration though.

I'm holding on for 70-80 to evolve too. Hopefully since they speeded it up it ought to be better.

I am 2.4 k through a 3k so am swapping to a drantini after that.
