I'm a couple of thousand XP from level 20. Once there I might just grind up all the rubbish for candies and evolve the best ones.

I was running low on pokeballs so today I took one unnecessarily long bus trip and one totally unneeded to get to the supermarket (10 minutes walk away ) by a completely in the wrong direction first route to hit a bunch of pokestops on the way. Now have over 100 pokeballs and 30 great balls. :)

On Saturday I missed out on an Aerodactyl, I thought I'd caught it but it escaped and ran away. Gutted! Last night I went for a walk near where I'd seen it on the off chance it'd reappear, but no such luck. :( However, I did get a Nidorina and hatched a Cubone, so not a bad day.

Wow kinda excited about the Halloween bonus!! Might buddy up my dratini then.

What are IVs?

With regards to battling a gym on a high level I would get in my car, get comfy and battle way. Your 6 against top ones will still knock them out. Keep reviving until you bring the prestige down. It is definitely doable.

had an evolve session and got about 55000.

I took the kids pokehunting in London today and can confirm that Green Park is amazing for Charmander! Got enough for a Charizard! They just kept appearing.

Also caught a 2000CP Gyarados just outside Victoria station and a low CP Snorlax behind County Hall (South Bank) - found with the help of FPM :-)

My 3k egg gave me a caterpie. I've decided to try and finish my 3k for a candy while stuck in traffic walking tomorrow and have set a reminder to change to dratini on thu. I figure some advance is better than none on that front.

I will also collect all sorts of crap and transfer them out on thu in the hope of getting double candies. Space for 350 Pokemon and have 303 as of this evening. Need some excitement in my life.

My Gym I have been on since Saturday I watched been taken over from home while my child is in bed..Was level 6..They put a 245 pickachu on it...I am sure they think no one will battle a pickachu.. He will be gone tomorrow !!

MuddlingMackem our favourite stocking up point round your way is Mowbray park. Lots of stops and there's a nex there, though it's not been anything good, recently. We first visited when we needed scythers.

We're still in the gym we got into on Saturday. Ancient graves and mud definitely offputting! And the fact that I got close enough to check it, today, and it has a total of about 15K CP of pokemon in it!

And this is in a University city! Wwhich is entirely Yellow, right now - Instinct seems to have taken over since schools went back)

i put it on for a laugh and there is this suspenseful music for my avatar standing on an empty road. then all the dramatic music when a PIDGEY appeared and was caught.

Having no luck with the FPMap

muddlingmackem I'm glad to see that I am not the only one doing mad things for Pokémon! I stood in the rain today training to get in to a level 10 gym for my team. It's the only way I stand any chance of getting gym coins and I noticed that there were only 9 Pokémon in when normally there are 10 and the max 52000 prestige. There's nowhere to stop in a car otherwise I would have driven there!

Also very excited about the Halloween thing, it's good to have a bit of variety. Buddying the 5k Pokémon is a good idea. Can anyone remember which ones they are? Dragonite, Lapras & Snorlax? Although really don't need to see any more drowzees or zubats Thankyou!

Just trained at a level 9 gym to bring it up to 10. Now in 4 gyms. Look at the time!

Was in the car whilst doing above and kept looking at my wing mirrors in case somebody walked by and saw my hands furiously going up and down and not see my phone...

Lucky that you can reach the gym in your car. There's a gym near me that turned yellow (my team) and had a free space. But at 11.30pm I decided that I really shouldn't leave the house as you can't park close enough to it. Hubby and kids are all in bed and it's pouring with rain, so I decided that actually is one step too far, in the dark, on my own! So actually decided to be sensible mummy and not go!

PickAChew Wrong side of the river for me for an evening, instead I head down and walk a few laps of the stadium, there are 5 pokestops around it. Although I seem to use up everything I collect on stuff that appears on the walk. I've done Mowbray Park once when I was in town, but at the moment Vine Place eastbound is closed so the buses heading north from the interchange detour and go past the park. Making the most of that right now, I'll actually be sorry when Vine Place reopens. LOL!

umpymummy LOL! I've been tempted a few times but today was the first opportunity. Used a few of them up chucking a couple of incenses this evening as DH is working away for a few days. Haven't done gyms but the DC want to do those, so I may have a go after I've taken the kids out and let them try. There are a few gyms around the various parks so I'll see how they fare first. :)

I have sat in the middle of a pitch black field taking down a gym at gone 9pm! The other ones I take after the kids are in bed I do from the car though, which doesn't sounds as nuts.

When Holland Park in London was a Bulbasaur nest, a local told me that the lures were going off all night. Park gates locked at 5pm so players were breaking in to catch them.

I'm enjoying the new colour coded eggs. After having an empty egg basket for a few days I've got 8 now and one of them is another 10km egg. That's my 4th now and i pray for lapras!

Thought I'd be buddying koffing this weekend but then I caught a wild weezing so I'll concentrate elsewhere. Probably geodude, bulbasaur or charmander as I never catch any of these.

I took down a level 6 gym last night, took me bloody ages too and I have cramp in my hand this morning but my daughter thinks I'm a hero! [hgrin]

Loaded up with pokeballs, we're off round Kent on a slow bus today, sorted!

Had an update this morning which seems to give you XP even if the wee beastie runs away. I used 3 pokeballs and a Spearow legged it but I was awarded 25 xo which is new.

How does fastpokemap work? I've downloaded it a couple of times, set it to show me everything but nothing comes up? I've tried it in London and where I live but get nothing.

You don't need to download FPM; its website based. You do need to tick the boxes for the Mon you want to show up though.
