I'm a couple of thousand XP from level 20. Once there I might just grind up all the rubbish for candies and evolve the best ones.

10k egg hatched this morning. DS and I watched with bated breath...to see an Eevee.

Gutted, it's only our 3rd or 4th 10k egg, as we rarely get them.

Just got to 100k xp. Another 25k to level up.

I got 3 gyms today. 2 by training to get into.

I entered one of my best pokemon in a drive by gym entry from a bus about 4 days ago and it is still there. Will never get my flareon back but like the coins.

Have you guys seen the Halloween announcement!?

Double candies from the 26th, double candy for transfers, 4x as quick with buddy candies. And more fucking Zubat and Drowsee!

Not sure whether to buddy dragonair now or try to buddy everything else while this is on! Hitting a kabuto nest on Thursday. Yay!

I have and I can't decide what to buddy. Now FPM is back I can find dratini around Westminster again. So it's between Omanyte and Kabuto I think. Or the couple of things I have only a few candy left to get.... Decisions decisions... Especially as I have a big evolve session coming up at the weekend. Also debating whether it's better to spend coins on 50 more places in my Pokemon storage or more incubators.... I have 200 coins at the moment and am averaging 60-80 a day, but have a lot of walking and catching planned at the end of the week.

Oh really?? I have not seen that!!! Is it worth getting some dratini candies I wonder? I'm on 55 but my one and only dragonite is 170xp so i can't evolve that. Been pondering whether to buddy up with it but the 5k has put me off.
How long is this thing for? Until 31st?

I think I'll have to put my dragonair in for that week. Currently working on my Machoke, but he's close enough to wait a little longer!

You train it up to raise its prestige at the same time. It might deter them a bit.

I had to yesterday. Met a couple of people taking a gym I fancied, then went a conspicuously worked on levelling up my level 7 gyms nearby.

I'm really confused what to buddy, wondering if I can get a few of my stragglers. I need 9 Abra candy (aim to do that by Thursday), 18 kabuto (but I've found a nest so happy to catch with double candy it's only 3!), 35 grimer candy, 23 omanyte candy and 59 Bulbasaur candy. And a stupid number for dratini!
If you're getting them four times as fast (so it says) grimer and omanyte would be 28.75km, Bulbasaur 44.25 and dratini 102.5km. Maybe the 5km candy ones are worth more as each 5k saves walking an extra 15k?! Argh! Conflicted

I think going for the 5km ones makes most sense. Kabuto or Omanyte for me. And maybe a few more Snorlax and lapras candies too. But I'm also working on eggsecutor and clefairy which I am close to.

I'm almost finished with my nidoran (93) but I do catch them every now and again so I've decided I will change to dratini for those 5 days to see where I get to from my current 55 candies.
Might have to plan a day out in London on Sunday.

Didnt think of Lapras candies. I cant power mine up. I got two very early on but have used their candies.

I caught my lapras wild so only ever had 3 candies with it. It's a really decent one too. As is my Snorlax (hatched).

I got one wild and one from a 10k egg. But used all my Lapras candy now

I walked round the block 3 times to hatch my 5k.....a Krabby.

Oh and my 2k egg was a Pidgey.
