I'm a couple of thousand XP from level 20. Once there I might just grind up all the rubbish for candies and evolve the best ones.

Good news about the gyms- it took me ages and dozens of injured Pokemon to get one up to level 9 yesterday! I have stayed in it for today's coins too, at least. It normally changes hands every half hour.

I now have Ponyta as my buddy. I have to say I look cool with a flaming steed by my side

A Scyther shadow has been taunting me since last night. I cant find it.

My beautiful Lapras has been in a gym for ages. I have no idea where. I've started taking screen shots every time I leave one at a gym. I need to know where my babies are!

I've got Pikachu as my buddy now, can't wait until he goes on my shoulder.

I found an 18cp Poliwag holding a gym alone today.

It took 2 seconds to kick it out.

Took Buckingham palace gym. And the gym at the fourth plinth of trafalgar square. Also saw a real Ryan gosling in the wild. Can't capture him with pokeballs I'm afraid

I've just leveled up to level 30. 🎉🎉🎉. Phew, that was a long slog. Only another half a million XP until level 31 😂😂😂

Got to level 23 finally and honestly, the freebies that I got were quite frankly insulting. A slap on the face with a limp dick would have been more thrilling than 10 balls, 10 razz berries some potions and revives.

Level 27 is the same:

Caught a snorlax up the road from my house today, new one to the pokedex

I am starting to hate snorlax. Battling it in a gym is like battling a giant wall of blubber. There's a level 8 red gym down the road from me. The last 3 pokemon are snorlaxes. All 3 2000+ cp. It doesn't matter that I manage to bringvthat gym down to level 3. It's back up to level 8 by the next morning.

Incense is absolute bollocks.

A friend used it on their phone next to me and we compared it as we played.

Other than a pidgey and a couple of Rattatas the pokemon that came up using incense I got the same with no incense.

I've stopped bothering with the gyms in my town. They are all huge and blue with the same names and the same ginormous Pokémon. It less time consuming to drive out of town and hit the gyms in the small villages and roundabouts. National Trust properties work well.

I think the new updates will work ok well for me as hopefully the town gyms will start to switch teams a bit more often.

I cant hold the local NT property for for than a few hours.

Queen. Do you suspect spoofers or is it just a big and busy NT property?

It is in an area which is close to a tennis court where children play and there is a big secondary school and a primary school nearby so I suspect it is on the walking route to school.
