It must vary depending on where you live as I have never seen an Ekans or a shadow.

Also my GPS seems to have messed up or the app has.

I left it running on the bus so I could drive by pokestops and collect.

I put a new 5k egg on the boil and when I got off the bus it had registered 2k travelled. It was going too fast to count as walking. Not that I am complaining.

Queen, I think I caught one and hatched two so I ended up with lots of candy like that. I 'buddied' the last four. It's not a particularly high level one.

It's mainly that I hardly ever see shadows any more and I'm miles off evolving anything again because they all need SO many candies.

Yes LBOCS2 it is so annyoing. Most of the buddies need 3k or 5k for one fecking candy.

The only thing you can do is evolve all the shit all of the time but that gets dull.

Finally on level 20 and ooh lots of goodies - an ultra ball!

Only thing is it seems harder and harder to catch Pokémon now I'm at a higher level - I'm using at least 3-4 balls per catch but even then sometimes they run away! Anybody else noticed this?

Oh just wait. A fucking low level Pidgey needs 6 balls the higher you get. It is so annoying.

but then i caught a 600cp Eevee with one ball. it is so random.

Make the most if your levelling up 'gifts'. Couldn't believe it today. I have spent weeks levelling up from level 21 to 22. Finally did it today and got f**k all, not even a poke ball. Was hoping for an incubator as I only have the one infinity one left. Getting fed up now that it takes so long to get through levels, the amount of XP you have to reach is ridiculous.
Some of you are really lucky with yr gyms too. Where I live I never stay in more 2 -3 hours. Have never managed to get in 2 gyms at the same time. Nearly managed to today but both of my defenders both got booted out half an hour before my 21 hr timer ran out.
There was space in 2 gyms I could see from my house in my colour tonight (first time ever), but it was after. 11pm and one of them was in the middle of a park in amongst dark trees so really wouldn't have been a safe place to go. But worringly I considered it until common sense prevailed!

I am now on level 22. Did a mass pidgey evolve last night which game me the necessary 15k xp to move up.

I am finding it so creepy seeing my avatar's head walk through the pokestops.

Last night I saw all of my town's gyms turn red in seconds amd alll of them are now level 9. How do they do these things?

You only get incubators every five levels unless it has changed?

I got a Lapras in the back garden this morning.. I also forgot to put it on this am on school run..So walked about 2.5k just taking children to school..No pikachu candy from my buddy and could of hatched an egg.

I have squirtle as my buddy as I need one more candy to evolve. I could just cash in my cp 10 one but he was my starter (who I've called carl)

Dont waste your stardust on level 20. Once you get a bit higher, the CP starts jumping dramtically from anything you catch, so you naturally get higher evolves. I caught a Pidgey with over 400CP and evolved it and evolved it again and now I have a Pidgeot with over 1500CP and is one of my most powerful.

Wait until at least level 25 before you start using stardust.

And once you get the higher CPs you can power them up even higher.

I reached level 20 two days ago and have already burned through my new incubators. From what I can see that's it until level 25 unless I spend money.

I feel like all I'm doing now is grinding for candy, I've had a few new Pokemon recently but they've all either been evolved or hatched, I never see any new ones to catch. I'm hoping Niantic bring out either some new Pokemon to catch or some new challenges as the game is getting pretty repetitive.

Yes I caught a Porygon last night but that was my first for weeks.

If they made pokemon easier to find and then you could catch them all, then they could change the game and add more.

But just making it utterly impossible to find anything good or then you just get one and cant evolve it as you have no candies....I am getting tired of it.

Want for a walk to town today to hatch my 10k egg, very pleased with the outcome - here's my new pinsir! Never even had a sniff of one before.
And my most powerful ones - I think cloyster is my favourite, he has a 100 attack move

This morning, quick play on way to work, I got peed on by a dog as I sat catching a Venonat.

Hoped it was lucky, but my 5km Egg hatched a bloody Staryu!

You probably used Stardust to get that Hypno to over 1000CP?

When you get to about level 24, the drowzees you catch can be over 600CP.
I caught one at 683 and evolved it into a 1439 Hypno. In that case you would then discard your 1000 Hypno that you have used stardust on.

Had an ok day today. Got some new stuff. Evolved a Paras and a Clefairy to new ones. Hatched my first ever Ekans.

Caught a wild Duodo which I've never seen before.
Saw a Pikachu but couldn't find him.
There seem to be Eevee's everywhere now.

Just had a massive evolve session. 9 Rats, 15 Pidgeys and a load of other stuff.

Got a new Jolteon from evolving and Eevee.

Disappointment were a 2k Rattata egg and a 5k Ghastly egg

Same here re being bored of repetitiveness. Nothing new. Have enough candy to evolve pikachu but as I've only got one and its cp11 I won't evolve it. Now I've got machoke as my buddy- I'm on 82 and trying to get to 100.

Quick question- has anyone bought extra Pokemon storage? I'm finding just before an evolve session I'm very close to my limit (which is 300 already) so I'm thinking 350. Worth it?

I've just spent a few days on the coast and have had a very productive time. There seemed to be loads of great Pokemon.

Today I caught a Lapras, a porygon, a slobro, a doduo, 2X poliwhirl, a koffing, eevees, 2X magnimite, a 200CP magicarp with top stats (So happy - it's the best I've ever caught ), 2X pichachu, jigglypuffs, a growlith, lots of voltorbs, a tentacool plus some of the normal stuff.

I missed a ponyta and an electrode.

I wasn't even pokemon'ing that much. I was on a pier, a beach and a harbour. Looking back at the list it's easily the best haul I've ever had. There was one lured pokestop but that's all.

Imagine if I'd had any incense left.

I also cashed out 8 gyms 💰💰💰💰💰

The absolute best thing though was training up my 79 year old Mum to play for me while I was driving. She was catching Pokemon like a pro. 😂

I really need some more koffing candy hahaha and I've only ever caught 2 machops, feel like I'll never get to the 3rd evolution
