I thought you had to tap them, when I first started playing, but soon realised youu didn't (I let DS2 pop them, when he's with me and we're not dreaming of racing between pokestops on a bus, though.)

I used to think that too. My DC thought it was their job to collect the bubbles!

Let DC1 catch a few the other day. DC2 doesn't quite get it and keeps bringing up the screen to switch wifi on and off.

There is a site that suggests that you should try near libraries and universities for electric pokemon like Pikachu. We are finding that there is a slightly higher rate near libraries (data: one and only Pikachu, one and only Magneton, one Electabuzz shadow).

There's never anything at all near my local library! It has its own pokestop so they know its there.

I thought you had to tap the bubbles too. Until my 10 year old informed me that was not the case.

Thanks to FastPokeMap I caught an electrabuzz yesterday on the school run (random spot on a small side road with nothing of interest!). It's not a good one but its another space filled in my pokedex.

I'm doing a uni course at the moment and there are no electric Pokemon which is a pain as I had heard that too.

The spawns have all changed overnight! Our lovely charmander spawns are now digletts, doduo and nidoran Had a quick look at London - looks like Holland park is now Nidoran, St James' park is Pinsir, Battersea is Kabuto, couple of charmander on wormwood scrubs, anyone else lost a good spawn site?

Red I'm in London this afternoon!!! Where do I find info on nests??
Can I still find eggs near Russell Square and pikachu near Tower Hill?

Might stop in Holland Park for some nidorans!

If you look at version 3.0 then cross reference known nests with fastpokemap then you'll probably get a good idea of what the nests have changed into.

I suppose changing the spawns prevents places from being permanently inundated and provides new stuff for players.

I just look on the fastpokemap.se on the internet - i'm oop North but like looking at other places :)

Ive lost my Eevee nest. Magnetons are not half as cute - will have to find a new lunchtime hangout. I do have easy access to the St James Pinsirs nest though and hopefully we won't be bereft of dratinis and slowpokes round there?

I don't like change

I'm currently in 5 gyms (one for the 12th consecutive day - we took the gym a week last Thursday and it's now a L7). Team Mystic is strong in these parts.

Nothing shows up on fastpokemap for my town. Does it work off sightings users have registered with them?

As I was a passenger today I caught a Clefairy and a Geodude whilst travelling at about 40mph. Also saw a Pikachu shadow, so I reckon I''m due an actual sighting soon...

Well on my way home. Although I have caught loads of stuff, nothing very exciting. No pikachu in the Tower of London and no eggs in Queen's Park gardens. And no bulbassaurs in Holland Park either.
I have caught a few nidorans which will help towards evolving but that's about it.
My 10k egg gave me an electabuzz which would have been exciting if I hadn't just got one last weekend.
I'm knackered now and my feet hurt.

Not posted for a while as I've been busy with work. Change in weather and earlier nights have also curtailed my Pokemon fun.

I've seen and caught 134. I also have two gyms that reliably churn me coins every day. They're at a National Trust house and one is based out of the ice house, about 500 metres from the main house. Kerching!

Bit of a crap day but then this shadow showed up and I found it. Shit CP though:

Best bit of today was a geodude but I'm so far off a golem it feels rather dull.
Another 1.7k and I'll have my 10k egg, I really hope it's something new as my Interest is waining a little.

I've £4.51 in Google credit now, ive decided now when I get to £8 and buy the 1250 coin pack I'm going to buy 8 lucky eggs and spend the rest on 5 incubators instead of incense. Eggs will be the only way to get high candy levels on the ones I'm no Where near.
95 seen and caught now

My regulars are becoming a bit better quality.

I have had a load of Squirtles and Eevees lately.

I have enough to evolve a Paras but will wait for tomorrow as Clerfairy is my buddy and need 2 more candies to evolve.

Built up enough of the usual rubbish to have an evolve session.

I have been having much better 5k eggs.. My egg today hatched a Tangela and caught first Omanyte..very pleased.

Evolved a magneton and finally got my last candy so have an Arbuk. Yay!

Getting a bit bored now tbh. I never see anything different or interesting.
