Barely any walking registered for me today as I couldn't get on and when so did the servers appeared to be down or it couldn't find a signal. Rubbish.

User I'm waiting on my gloom and my haunter too. I have enough candy to fully evolve but think I have definitely learnt to hold off. I have seen basic forms of both that are close to my mid evolution but have run off. Getting to 100 takes so long I want the best possible now before I take the plunge.

Also if it helps my 700 ish cp nidorina and nidorino evolved into cp 1300ish nidoking and nidoqueen should have waited I think

Thanks wine it's just frustrating when I want numbers in the pokedex! Need to start walking my sandshrew soon I think. I never see them!

I know I always like to evolve as soon as I have an egg but regret it now some of them are such low cp and saving candy takes so long! I needed eggs for my sandslash they never spawn! I find now when evolving sites like this cp chart help to know if I'm close or not

Is anyone using the buddy thing? I have made Pikachu my buddy, naturally.

They have Pokemon happy meals in Sweden. I didnt buy one thinking they have been released world wide.

Imagine how pissed off i was when i realised they werent. I would have bought the toys.

MakeMyWine - thanks for the CP chart. It might help me more patient in my pursuit of a blastiost. I'm currently running with a vulpix as my buddy - I have one I hatched and figured it's a long slog to get a ninetails - plus it's cute.

I also had a patchy day. Caught a wild Gloom which was my only new one. Suffered with lots of crashes at lunchtime but stocked up on Magicarp by the Thames. Sadly no dratini by the London Eye (thanks for the tip though) but I hit the Ponyta in Jubilee Gardens. Still need to have a proper session in Hyde Park tackling Clefairys.

My cany's adding automatically, on Android - I just get a message something like SirFlapalot found 1 candy.

DS1 went to bed inordinately happy after catching his first Exeggcute which spawned in our back street.

And in the past 24 hours, as well as evolving enough vermin to get myself to level 26, I've evolved my first wheezing and hatched my first doduo.

One of the raticates I've evolved actually looks like it would be pretty tough in a gym, if I bothered with them. That 120 hyperbeam looks like it could do a lot of damage to the right pokemon, if its 74HP survived whatever was thrown in its direction!

Since the update, I've notice that both DS1's and my phone have been better at updating distance on our walks, though DS1's takes a lot longer to start up the game. I had to delete some shite to even download the update - and he doesn't even appear to have noticed! Both phones have had a lot less of the spinny ball and when DS1's has had it, a message comes up that it can't log in and gives the option to retry, rather than forcing you to give up, shut it down and start it again, immediately, losing progress! I've also noticed that the appraisals are a lot more slick and polished in appearance and seem to be a lot quicker to click through.

I havent moved my ass off the sofa since I buddied but Pikachu has walked 100m.

That's what I use it for! I find it so hard to not evolve straight away and add to my pokedex but if I can see it's no where near the cp of my level I can wait for example I didn't evolve my 800 cp gloom and waited today I got a 700 oddish so 2 more and I should get a semi decent vileploom.

Why is it that all the pokemon, apart from Pikachu sound like farts. Pikachu is the only one that says his name when I tap on him.

Pikachu is the only happy one too. The rest growl at you or try to bitch slap you.

I hatched a Snorlax yesterday from a 10k egg - yeah!!! Loving the buddy update now too so fingers crossed I'll eventually get enough candy to evolve a Magikarp!

Got my first 10k egg yesterday but need to finish off a 5k one first to free up an incubator.

I really hope it's turns out to be something good - 1 egg in 20 levels I might not get another one forever!!

I picked up 5 year old DS from school yesterday and handed him the phone. Whilst halfway through a conversation on the walk home he shouted that the shadow of a snorlax had appeared on the sightings.

After 10 minutes of charging around the streets and a further 5 minutes of shouting GIVE IT A RASPBERRY! NO DS USE AN ULTRABALL! All while fighting the urge to snatch my phone from my child and catch it myself........

I ended up coming to London early, just waiting for my phone to charge up and then I'll go find a shop to get phone credit as I've run out and then go for a wander around until I have to do other things.

I had to laugh earlier. My partner sent me a photo of his Magikarp (which he has as his buddy). He got to work and had 399 candy! He's now gotta wait until lunch before he can get that last candy he needs, lol!

I'd love an update that condensed the evolving sequence. Ffs sake, it's another Pidgey I'm only evolving for the points, I don't need to see all the flappy nonsense!

Sad that I have to wait to try to double evolve my Nidorans now. I'm not patient! Considering a 6 mile walk to and from a restaurant tonight so my buddy gets exercise!

I have a nice phone sized bag that I use to carry my phone around with all day as I go about my normal business purely so I can hatch eggs and get candy :o

It's surprising how far I walk just around the house and garden..

Does anyone know roughly how close the closest Pokemon on the sightings list is meant to be?

I had what can only be described as an explosion of Pokemon yesterday. I was walking around the corner and my phone buzzed. Stopped, looked at it - two Rattata, a nidoran, an Eevie, a slowpoke, a shellder and a Mr Mime had all appeared in a cluster on my screen!

So that was good. I've got a Cloyster now too as that was the last shellder I needed.
