I'm level 22 with 112 caught and 114 seen.

Finally caught a Snorlax yesterday!

We went and hung out on Sydney Harbour on the weekend thinking we'd get heaps of new ones..all we got were a bunch of bloody magikarps! Did finally get enough to evolve a Gyrados though so that's something I guess!

Other exciting (to me, lol) Pokemon I have are Jinx, Magmar, Aerodactyl (hatched from a 10k) Lickitung, Tangela, Onix, Chansey and Scyther

Just worked out I need 15 more candies to evolve my charmander to charmeleon. 3k per candy is 45k!
Better than it was before without the buddy system but that's a whole lotta walking!

Then another 300k for charizard .....

Another perk of the update is that when you put a lure on it shows your user name next to it. So now we can see who the regular lure setters are.

That said, despite the proximity of a Growlithe, the only Pokemon the lure is giving up are bloody drowsees.

Didn't it always do that? When you clicked on the module?? Is it more obvious now no one setting lures round here yet it's really changed some the kids have gone back to school

Hello. Have been lurking ages and only now managed to log in. Can I join in the fun?
I'm on level 25 and these days I don't ever get anything new. I'm on 120 caught and seen. Went to Holland Park yesterday and dos catch 6 bulbassaurs but other than that nothing exciting.
I'm loving the update and have my clefairy on candy hunt.

I can't decide who to put as my buddy. It's on Ponyta at the moment but mainly because it looks cool.

I suppose Magikarp would be the sensible option as they are few and far between here, (despite living right next to a river/stream, a canal, the sea and a lake ). So many candies needed though!

Right I'm going to swop lovely Ponyta for useless flappy git Magikarp.

I have a Clefairy as my Buddy. Wanted Picachu, but I've only got one and don't want to lose him by evolving him.

Had a day at Chessington and caught some fab ones last week, but it's all rattatas and pidgeys on the school run.

I'm up to level 22 but can't see myself progressing for weeks now without anything new.

I saw my first over 3000cp pokemon today - how did they get so high!

Also a drowzee is interrupting a BBC interview

Wasted a gazillion balls trying to catch a cloyster over cp1000 in asda today and the bloody thing ran away . Walked 6km round a Loch and got some buddy candies and a few magikarp. Had ds's phone plus mine so took double the time to catch stuff

I'm loving the new buddy thing, although I want them to follow me on the map like they do on one of the Pokémon games! I've got Geodude with me at the moment as we don't get many of them round here and it's only 1km for a candy.

Since the schools have been back, I've noticed I can stay in our local gyms a lot longer! The two near me have some strong Pokémon in at the moment though, so won't be tackling those until my partner gets home from work! I took them both on my own yesterday, but they were really weak.

I've got Wartortle as my buddy. Need to catch / hatch some Squirtles though (we do get them locally but not enough) or I'll be walking forever to get my Blastoise.

Up to 102 in the Pokedex now with my first Electrobuzz catch and a Seel evolved into a Dewgong.

Is it true that the Eevee naming trick doesn't work more than once... my kids are insistent that there is no point renaming my best Eevee to get a better Flareon (the Eevee is 300CP better than my current Flareon).

It's been hit and miss for me since the first time with eeves it doesn't hurt to try it

I've got seel as my buddy as I'm nearly close to evolving to a Dewgong!

Brownie the eevee trick works every time for us, last night I transferred the pyro one 700cp across to make 25 candies, then renamed the eevee pyro and it evolved into a 1500cp one. Was most pleased may not work every time for everyone though

Was very excited to see the update this morning. However, it has been dreadfully laggy today. Anyone else had this problem?

After a couple of slow days, we had a great day today!

We buddied up with Machop and were able to evolve him into Machoke. We caught our first Hitmonchan . Now we're a few hundred meters away from evolving Clefairy.

The tracking system is a lot better too, has anyone else noticed? We no longer have to walk three times as far as we need.
