Why won't psychics read me

Been to a couple of different ones like a room full off 30-50 ppl and she kept looking over to me and my mam and said we are blocking her from reading us .. Iv been read once but nothing that he was saying made sense and did not say anything to me that I could take

“Psychics” are con artists. You’re better off staying as far as possible from then.

They don't read anyone. They do take advantage and exploit people.

I have been 3 times.

The first was with my mother and I was told to not go into her house. I remember she eyed me up very strangely . I was about 12 years old

The next time I was about 19 I had made an appointment for just me and when I got to the door she took one look at me and said no and shut the door in my face.
The last time I was with a group of girls from work and again got told no I couldnt go into the flat so spent an hour hanging around waiting

you will get two types of answers here. One will always be the its fake, total rubbish answer and then the believers answer. As someone who has actually sensed stuff my whole life I know its not fake although there are some who pretend. Sometimes it is possible to block someone from reading you and you won't be aware you are doing it. Other reasons may be they feel uncomfortable with the energy again not your fault. not all psychics or mediums gel with the energy of those wanting a reading. sounds like you were in a room with a psychic as a medium will only pass on what they are told/seen by spirit not actually have to read your energy.

I am baffled as to why non believers post in threads specifically about psychics and their readings, why even come on ‘The unexplained’ threads when you just think it’s all pure crap?

Of course there is charlatans in most professions, and then in most professions there are the true professionals, being psychic is no different and it absolutely exists.

These same non believers will believe in God though

I would imagine most non believers in psychics don’t believe in god either! We tend to be a cynical bunch all round.

A clairvoyant will see images. a psychic picks up on and feels energy and may see images. A medium will be able to feel or see or hear spirit. You can have a mix of both.

Perhaps it’s the desperate hope that they will be able to save someone vulnerable from being taken advantage of by scam artists?

People will hurt anyone for money if they are low enough.

I agree some will try to stop people being taken advantage of by scam artists but you first need to find out if the person in question is a scammer or actually genuine.

I have had a couple of readings that were amazingly accurate, DH was a big skeptic, went for a reading the first person he saw was unable to give him a reading. Saw another person and was totally amazed with what she told him, he firmly believes now. But good and bad people in every business. It’s not for everyone.

Is anyone from Edinburgh or West Lothian here? The reason I ask is because there’s a cafe in Mid Calder called ‘Little Whispers’ and it’s a psychic cafe, my mums friend couldn’t be read and she’s a total skeptic.
