Oh, we have a few Bobs.

There appears to be a correlation between buying your child a Macbook Air and not actually expecting them to do any work. It's as if being able to afford Apple products means your child deserves a top grade.

Oh, I've got twelfty million tabs open and half of them are school related.

But not the boring stuff I have to do - oh no. More the exciting, creative, wouldn't it be nice if? stuff.

I have about 6 Bob’s worth of parents to email tomorrow with a print screen of what they haven’t done. Thank god for teams reports.

I know for a fact that one of the Bobs and his dad walk a dog period 5 on Monday when he should be in my lesson as they walk past the Head of Sixth Form’s house. Dad has called in to say that Bob is unwell/connection issues/orthodontist. He can have. 9 in dog walking but a 5 from me.

Happy half term everyone !

At this point I'm just glad that it's half term because then that's not another week of work that I've missed by being unwell .

In my head I'm hoping to be back on the Monday after half term but the Dr on Friday told me that when I do go home to expect me to be extremely weak and not to be able to walk yet (I have arthritis too) so I'm fearing I will be disappointed.

I'm worried because whilst my school are insanely understanding - I mean absolutely amazing honestly, that I've only recently started there and I'm worried this wasn't the best start.

I have a Chris Hemsworth story but I fear it may be too early and people may not be awake to fan themselves.

Happy half term!

Logged onto my emails this morning (head start on report writing) and have seen our testing facility at school is ready to go for after half term. Head says it will be voluntary and will not replaced isolation so that’s a relief.

I know :( I feel like I want to try but the fact is I've no date for discharge. I think I'm just feeling a bit more optimistic because I'm feeling a tad better / less pain over night. But, this is because I've actually had to take a step backwards and go back into a second whack of mega high dose IV steroids because I'd relapsed since stopping them so .. it's sadly likely to be a temporary improvement

No two separate occasions of hot tub proximity. Pre covid times obviously as Tom would not tolerate hot tub towelling in these times.

Is it bad if I reveal I don't know who Chris Hemsworth is or what he looks like? I have heard of his name. Just checked his IMDB and never seen a single one of his films, so that makes sense.

@RandomGrammarPun I know I know. Im just frustrated as I had literally said to my HoD that whilst my IBD was flaring at the time (I was open about it and I declared all health stuff when I filled out the new starter paperwork etc so never hidden anything)... I'd literally said ah I do get admitted but it's pretty much always been in school holidays for some reason & I said I'm always at work because I push myself to make up for the fact I'm not well.... And....now I've been off for weeks. We'd literally just been talking about upping my days (I'm part time ) in September. Still to part time but... Oh I don't know I know I won't be judged and they're absolutely lovely but I feel like I'm massively letting everyone down.

I did do a lesson obs literally on the Monday (then was admitted that Thursday afternoon ) and did really well though & got really positive feedback & the week before that my HoD had filled in her first appraisal form for me really positively as well, so that was good ... Relief that I had managed to get that in before this so at least they'd seen my teaching.

It's just hard, I have so much stuff wrong with me and I push myself really really hard to be the best I can despite this, and so I feel really defeated when things like this happen that are totally out of my control.

Sorry that was quite the pity post!
