Other requirements for staff room entry include the ability to find the staff room, the ability to find a clean mug in the staff room, knowledge of the photocopier codes, and the ability to sniff out where the booze is stashed - Thirsty Tuesdays, Fizz Fridays now in operation.

I also want to know what proportion of primary children are on these exemption lists? I reckon it must be quite a lot, and yet Twatelaaar barely mentioned them in passing.

I have found MN have been really good again recently when I’ve reported posters-they’re nearly always deleted. I ask if it’s a pbp-it always seems to be!

Does anyone know about non exam years? Is the guidance anywhere? God only knows if my y10 don't get teaching

I really want to ask some of those pompously smug "I'm so glad" or "I'm a key worker so my child is OK" posters, how glad they will be when the whole cohort is taken out to isolate on the second day of term, meaning no KW kids in at all, regardless of how vital your job is.

Primary here. I want schools in but this feels ridiculous. If it isn’t safe for me to see another soul except my family indoors how on earth is it fine for me to mix with a class full on Monday? No testing, no planned vaccines, moving to tier 4 at midnight.

My LA is at just over 500/100,000 and not on the list. The one next door (and half my school's catchment) is about 760 I think. Where is the cut-off?

God knows what DS2 (year 12) will do all week though. He thrives on working. He has done 3 hours work every day this holiday except Xmas Day! He'll have to invent his own work...

piggy I am going to set some optional work on teams for 10&12s. Some of them will need stuff and I don't want them to feel abandoned.

My Dd will be set some Oak from me if nothing is set. I can see my school saying teach remote lessons anyway.

They don't though will they? They'll be queuing for their fucking pointless tests every day for a week instead (ignoring the 10 day rule too note)
