It is misinformation to say Trump sent his followers to attack the US Capitol. He did no such thing. If people want to debate/argue otherwise then fine but to label people troublemakers and ban them for having such a view does not bode well for people of a certain political persuasion.

Hi folks. We've posted a couple of times to ask people not to bring grievances over from other communities. We'll be deleting some posts in this thread - and we ask once again for a line to be drawn under it.
Feel free to start new threads about education issues etc.

@DrLinus, Sorry, but I have to agree with you. Don't get used to it though.

@MichaelMumsnet, @Weald56 was the one stirring it up, and stating people got what they deserved and quoting freely from the other site and yet his posts, which many of the deleted ones were responding to, are still active.

Also, my post, that was deleted was indeed education related. As qualified teachers we are told that we must inform children of the reasons why they are being disciplined and give them an opportunity to correct their bad behaviours and that not doing so, risks damaging the child's perception of themselves and of others in authority and impacts the feelings of trust and safety of the other children which is non conducive to producing an optimal learning environment.

Hang on, so my post at 11.52 has been pulled, yet when I read the Talk Guidelines, I can't understand why? What was the problem mumsnet? I was actually trying to spread a little love...

Hi all. We've removed some posts that are solely aimed at discussing the members and the moderation of another community. As we mentioned ^upthread - it's not really in the spirit of MN to do this and we really would like to call a halt to it now and move on.

Please do report any posts that you'd like us to take a look at.

We live in changing times.

The council used to do everything. I am thinking of setting up a 'Friends of Play Area' to keep the space at the top of the road in a well maintained condition.

Maybe try to have something to say about something not just saying what you think other people have done wrong.
