The ProBoard site now attracting refugees from the community boards is a private forum with rules and guidelines on what behaviour is expected and acceptable. The people who set up the forum and moderate it have the right to decide not only how they want the forum to run, but also who they want to be on there.
To those who have already joined and been banned, I suggest you look at your own attitudes and posting history before getting all upset because you were not allowed to stay. If you have fallen foul of the rules then it's because you have fallen foul of the rules, not because anyone is being 'mean' or 'spiteful' or is 'in a clique.'
Getting banned because of your own behaviour and then whining about it on here is the typical behaviour of a stroppy teen who needs to grow up and start taking responsibility for their own actions.
ALL the posters so far who have been banned from the ProBoard site had writted posts that were argumentative and designed to provoke negative responses from others. They were given chances and continued.
There was more than enough of this on the TES community board, and the moderators weren't effective enough to stop it happening. The ProBoard site is not TES, and the inflammatory posts and trolling behaviour that these posters got away with on TES will not be allowed on the new site. You have no automatic right to join a private forum and will get no sympathy if you do join only to then try and continue your disruptive behaviour - behaviour which was in part the reason for the TES community board being withdrawn.
So, dear trolls, if you want to join in then you have to come out from under the bridge, put down your clubs, and start behaving like sensible adult people who know how to be polite.
