Where the dickens has it gone? Is it gone gone? Has it been renamed and I just can't find it?

Thought I had signed up, yesterday.
Thanks to pepper5 and everyone. All the best.

RaininSummer · 12/01/2021 16:54

Have found the new site! Brilliant. Great to see lots of the 'old' posters I recognise.

RaininSummer · 12/01/2021 16:55

I love sooty, that was a good meet. It was the Exeter one by the river wasn't it? I remember it well.

It was a lovely meet. I really enjoyed it and I was really glad I made the trip.
PriscillaChinchilla · 12/01/2021 17:52

@LittleRedMan I had you on ignore for most of your lifetime on Tes so I'm hardly going to start engaging with you now - but I never said there was a covid denier on the site.
I'm laughing at the THOUGHT.
Feel free to join though. You'll probably hate it though because, well, re-read my previous post, eh?

PriscillaChinchilla · 12/01/2021 17:54

@RaininSummer

Hello! Coffeekid here. Hope all is well. x

farqueue21 · 12/01/2021 18:31

@PriscillaChinchilla

Well I'm laughing at the thought of Trump supporters and covid-deniers coming onto a Tes substitute forum because the likes of Parler has been shut down. And the assumption that said site mods will put up with shit-stirring bullshit (wrong assumption, chaps)
There was no one denying covid. My crime was to question misinformation about Donald Trump. Nothing more. No abuse, no trolling. This apparently is against terms and conditions, which one I don't know as I was instantly banned.
PriscillaChinchilla · 12/01/2021 18:32

See my last post.
Jesus...

Have a nice life though. Bye.

Yes. The people who did not like a certain worldview are now in control of TES community. Instead of just putting you on ignore they can now exclude you permanently. They have the power and they will abuse it. It won't take long for this environment to become very toxic.

Zelda20 · 12/01/2021 18:46

The new site is anything but toxic. It's the opposite.A safe place, full of lovely posters who have read the rules and agree to abide by them by being polite and civil to other posters.

SadScientist · 12/01/2021 18:52

Yeah, lanokia’s still there doing his snarky remarks

Hey Coffeekid xxxxx!

ilovesooty · 12/01/2021 19:26

It's a shame there isn't an ignore facility on here.

PriscillaChinchilla · 12/01/2021 19:27

Or a "like" facility.

PriscillaChinchilla · 12/01/2021 19:31

Not that I'm staying on Mumsnet - I pop back here now and then in case anyone new has joined and is wondering where everyone is.

ilovesooty · 12/01/2021 19:34

Oh I'm not sure I want a like facility. I am however getting a bit tired of @farqueue21 and its incessant whining, especially since it won't tell us its TES username.

Not really. Most are pretty dull. There are a few interesting ones. Hopefully more will show up.

Just stop posting then, it really is that simple.

PriscillaChinchilla · 12/01/2021 20:14

What are you on about? Why would I "stop posting"?
Why don't you stop posting?

LittleRedMan · 12/01/2021 20:18

If you don’t want to “engage” with me, why respond to my posts? Obviously.

PriscillaChinchilla · 12/01/2021 20:19

Because I felt like it.

LittleRedMan · 12/01/2021 20:28

I didn’t know they let kids on mumsnet

pastparticiple · 12/01/2021 21:49

So you keep looking Farqueue?😆

spanieleyes · 13/01/2021 08:22

Can I perhaps point out that the staffroom site is NOT a TES community site, it is a private one that has been set up by the moderators and , as such, can have the rules it wants and who it wants on it. As I said previously, if you don't like it or the way it is run, set up your own and then you can say or do whatever you like.

Zoorhik · 13/01/2021 08:23

Much prefer here for teachers. The posters on here seem less judgy and more open minded. The new site is full of people set in their ways and opinions.
