I’ve just seen on the front page of the Times tomorrow that Parliament could be shut for 5 months from Easter to September to try to halt the spread of the virus.

Which just shows that teachers are more vital to the smooth running of the country than the people nominally in charge of it.

Maybe all those MPs with months of free time on their hands could teach a few lessons. Now that would be interesting.

Well, having asked my union and got nowt yet, i'm not hopeful. I'm nigh on 50, expensive, asthmatic, have an autoimmune disease. I look after an elderly (85) year old mother and two teens.

They can fuck right off if they think i'm going in to teach classes of 45 plus while Parliament shuts.
