And it isn't a British case, so they can print what they like.
Does anyone have a photo of the DM newspaper front page? I feel like they are rather gleeful with the online one, a final vindication against HaM, maybe? That's what it feels like. A kind of, "gotcha" to Harry.

Yep, I think the fact the DM has taken this stance this morning is really interesting. It's a clear attempt to distance the Royals from the story and explain the tawdry way the story has unravelled. H and M do not look good in all this.

Where is your empathy. You’re descending on her like a pack of vultures. If a new mum at your school was ostracised, her father was found to be in a similar situation, and she had recently moved country, would you all bitch about her or would you try to help? The poor woman just fell in love and had to leave her successful career and then tried to make a happy family, and all you lot do is take swipes at her. She even talked about thoughts of suicide, before they left for the US. She’s a mother. Her kids are young, that’s tough enough at the best of times without a house move, could try move, paedo dad and social media and press full of vitriol and hatred. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. I have no skin in the game. I’m white, I don’t particularly care about the royal family, but I can see right and wrong. And you are all so very wrong to bitch and snipe about her.

@Yabbadabbadooooooo before coming on the thread with a patronising lecture; read the content of the posts.
Seriously.

I know! Also, how great was William on the GN show? That's just eating some people up!

It sure is on the other thread…it’s riled them up big time!

Has Meghan confirmed that in 2025 she accused her dad, via letter, of being a paedophile?

Not as far as I know . Caroline Graham (DM) said he read it then put it away . And never saw it . TM now says he doesn’t know where it is but he has dementia so that’s not entirely unreasonable.
Like others I am struggling with various aspects of this unsavoury saga.
Why so many handwritten letters ??
How on earth did an ex wife know about the Fixated persons department ( no one I have asked has ever heard of it!).

Although I did recently hear the theory that Archie was born earlier than announced.

I thought that was daft. Now I’m thinking there is more we don’t know than one could ever guess here.

Harry is on record saying "he's changed so much in two weeks." This was in reference to Archie, when he was supposed to be only a couple of days old.

nicegreenwillow · Yesterday 08:30

AtIusvue · Yesterday 08:25

The press need to start asking about what Harry knew, why he’s not saying anything etc.

Well, in 2021 he clearly didn't know, or was lying.
He said the fall out with TM was the fault of the RF.
Not one mention of the man's wrong doing.

To be fair, it's Harry. What actually happens all appears to be a bit muddled for him.

It hasn't changed my opinion of them at all - I have no sympathy for her either. It's just such a pity that Harry ever got mixed up with that family.

What a fool he was. And he was warned to slow things down. He was having an affair with Meghan already….why, oh why did he need to marry her ?

I think he’ll have to sort this mess out himself.

I can't believe they'd do that?

The Sun are behaving like the tabloids did back in the day. Not a good look for them, and doesn’t do M’s credibility any good. The whole situation is a grubby mess.

I'd be very supportive of a woman like you've described here. Except you've conveniently left out the other side of her - the woman who tore in her husband's family and branded his father and sister-in-law racists. The woman who cuts out friends and family with the same casualness that I butter my toast every morning. That woman whose stories never add up and how makes a drama out of everything.

That woman I would steer very clear of, for fear I'd end up in her crossfire.

Oh.. and the woman who claimed as recently as 2021 that the break down of relations with her Dad was because of the RF.

It's only that she's lost excess fat due to weight loss injections. So her face looks very different , mouth and nose look bigger chubby cheeks gone face dropped a bit. Lots of people on wli have this effect.

I think the smaller people are when they start the more it affects their face. I’ve lost 30kgs over the last 2 years and look really well. I still look like me.

Not so.

Nearly every post has a disclaimer acknowledging that M isn’t responsible for her family’s dysfunction. She has a terrible personal record for untruth and manipulation, though, and that’s why pps are understandably suspicious of her.

Yes, it’s awful for M, but we’ll see how she handles the situation. Will she try to exploit it to claim victim status? Will she try to blame the RF?

Let’s see how she plays it. That will be very revealing.

It was, however, made firmly clear to Page Six Friday that Markle’s hands had been tied, as she didn’t have firm proof of the allegations and to make public allegations could have jeopardized an investigation

That's why they're called allegations, because there isn't necessarily firm proof one way or the other. That's why you alert the people who can investigate them and find or not find that proof.

or opened her up to litigation.

All about her again. Never mind that her allegations might have prevented years of CSA, she didn't want it to come back on her. What litigation was she expecting if she acted in good faith?

It’s about as ridiculous a story as the one where a pregnant Meghan and Harry (the mental health charity leader) between them couldn’t pick up a phone and contact her private 24/7 medical team, or any of the other available confidential services, to ask for help with her apparently severe emotional distress.

Instead they were forced to go to a glittery dress-up event with cameras and applause.

I know these people are useless but these tales are really not credible.

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · Yesterday 08:36

Her kids are young, that’s tough enough at the best of times without a house move, could try move, paedo dad

Alleged 'paedo dad.'

You make her sound like a young mother on a council estate, not the wife of a millionaire prince; and while being the wife of a millionaire prince doesn't shield her from the slings and arrows of life, she's hardly having to contend with the day to day stuff us ordinary bods do.

Bear in mind that this is a woman who fudges the truth as easily as she breathes and was as well massively disrespectful to an elderly woman who showed her nothing but kindness. Some of us object to that and what it showed about MM.

Wonder how they will spin this to be William’s fault?

Yes! he was great. And he seemed entirely genuine. I loved his little quip about enjoying all the dreary stuff he has to do. By the by I loved the Irwin croc guy and Hannah too, a great show this week.

AutumnCrowning · Yesterday 08:39

I don’t believe I need ask.

The language used suggests that she may well be dealing with another rather shell shocked father rather closer to home who is wondering why he wasn’t as aware of the gravity of claims that could be levelled at the father-in-law he never met. And why he was encouraged to trash his own family publically for relatively minor wrong doings when compared to CSA. Because the least you’d expect from a spouse with (factual or fictional) allegations of CSA in the family is to have some perspective about lip gloss & lime light sharing.

Is Harry still absent enjoying half-term with the children?

Let’s be clear, gossip would be the least of the new mums worries if she believed her father was guilty of CSA but didn’t do much about it.

The reality is at BEST, the new mum would be gossiped about and kids not allowed to go their home for play dates. At worst, they could be run out of town.

Haha

Wasn't HM happy for MM to resume acting? let's not make it sound like she was forcibly abducted by the RF.
