"But your style of posting is making me not want to even read your posts"

I think the strategy is just to scroll past quickly.

Yes, just scroll, scroll, scroll. Any posts that comes across as a bloke mansplaining to the laydeez really aren’t worth a nanosecond of anyone’s time.

Anyway, Meg’s performance for H is being publicised on social media quite blatantly, I see. How very tawdry.

There’s been a copy in the window of the local Oxfam shop for over a week now, no takers at £3.99 😬

A hardback copy?

I'll buy a cs paperback copy at some point. Rather than "a pinch of salt", I'll have a full shaker close by 😉.

Do you think it’ll come out in paperback? Perhaps Piers Morgan put the mockers on that.

But she has known since 2018 (2019!!) so why is she getting upset now? Is Archie with the nanny, has he been left behind?

Perhaps and giving her the benefit of the doubt, a few years ago it was just suspicions? TM may well leak the full letter she sent him.

AutumnCrowning · Yesterday 21:44

Starryfifty · Yesterday 21:20

MSM are pushing a new narrative for Meg. Not addressing what she knew and when she knew it. HAM will very much spin this as CSA advocates

What is actually wrong with these journalists? Are they unable to remember the details of the recent past? Sean Coughlan for example is not a stupid man but he’s acting like a real BBC apparatchik today. Unless it’s a set-up and he’s working on a hatchet job to follow.

MeghanAndTheSeals · Yesterday 21:44

Eat them and buy another pack on the way to see your mum!

Yes, this is what I've decided. 😀 I pass a Co-op at each end of the journey, so no problem there.

They do taste very sweet and sugary, as opposed to chocolatey.

On topic, Sean Coughlan on the BBC has written a sympathetic piece wondering if we've all misjudged M and whether we'll be nicer to her in light of these revelations.

My immediate thought for him is ODFOD

Puzzledandpissedoff · Yesterday 21:49

AutumnCrowning · Yesterday 21:25

It’ll be a performance for Harry.

Interesting, AutumnCrow, and yes I guess that's another possibility

It's an uncomfortable subject autumn. If Meg wasn't such a Machiavellian opportunist and a proven liar, I would be 100 💯 behind her. I imagine journos are expecting her to reveal she is also a victim of her father

As regards "upset" I suspect you just nailed it, Rhaidimiddim

100%. That performative delivery of the Dec 2025 letter, delivered by the consulate, filmed and signed for, I am certain was M laying the trail for a big reveal once TM died. Am sure she felt it would be the biggest FU to pretty much everyone in the press and public. Surely she must be regretting it now. She’s laid her own media trail proving that she “knew” for at least 10 months (or 8 years, whichever way she was hoping to spin it).

Met misplaced letter containing allegations about Thomas Markle

She can spin it. She was told Met handed it over to the relevant authorities. Doesn't explain why her alleged paodophile father was permitted to travel to Mexico and Philippines.

HAM really need a Malcom Tucker type on their side

Cismyfatarse · Yesterday 21:53

The whole thing is really weird. I can’t work it out but all is definitely not as it seems.

readbutdonotpostoften · Yesterday 21:57

Cismyfatarse · Yesterday 21:52

So the only copy which a lot of this issues stem from is the copy Meghan gave the Met. There is no original. So the Met is relying on someone remembering the exact wording of the original letter from 2019 - what are the odds someone can or there is even anyone at the Met who actually saw and read the original.

Same. There's something missing. Have any now grown women come forward about Tom Senior ? He was in the business where he had access to children/teens

if 'someone' remembers the exact wording then that makes it obvious it's a fix. I can't remember stuff I read last week.

The letter is handwritten by ex wife who is now deceased? They can analyse the handwriting from old correspondence from her. I'm sure it's around somewhere. Would be interesting to see if it was actually written by her

Honestly, Harry would have been better off if he married Katie Price

Yes, hardback. Pristine condition, probably hasn’t even been read…

I don’t really feel sorry for him, but Harry really has got his life into an unholy mess since meeting Meghan. Starting with getting engaged before meeting any members of her family (not sure if he’d met Doria at that point).
You don’t have to like and get on with your in-laws, but to never meet them is weird. And his life has just got weirder and weirder from that point onwards.
I wonder if, when he’s alone with his thoughts, he ever ponders what he got himself into.

And when William sensibly suggested he slowed down so he could "take time to get to know this girl", Harry hit the roof......and subsequently the floor, via the dog bowl.

Yes true, the same with me, but something of such importance, it may not be remembered verbatim but they are relying on someone being able to verify the copy sent is exactly a copy of the original letter.
Edited to clarify

Malcolm would not care for that I’m sure. No-one wants to speak for an omnishambles and a minge mop.

That pair are the very opposite to quiet bat people.

So who was it sent to, MM or the Fixated Section? I thought the original fairy tale version was that it was sent to the Met and they sent it to the office in KP?

And we're supposed to swallow this load of bullshine?
