Sorry to hark back to chat from a few pages ago. But I've been ruminating on the don't feel sorry for me I'm a price comments.

I think someone has actually tried to do some pr with him. Pointing out that all the whining doesn't look good on someone who's been brought up in a palace.

What he was supposed to do was to say, I'm not looking for sympathy I'm aware that I have my privilege has enabled me to access support unavailable to do many deserving people, the kind of support everyone should get - you know, a bit humble, a bit apologetic, maybe with an inferrance that he knows how lucky he is and how unfair it is that not everyone gets the same support, link to some mental health charity work.

But got it wrong, because he really doesn't get it and said

Don't feel sorry for me. I'm a Price don't ya know.

I think someone somewhere gave a briefing, watched the edit and cried a little.

There’s that advice/saying that you should “dress for the job you want, not the job you have”. I don’t think H is going to convince anyone that he’s a prince of anywhere dressed like a teenage scruff.

But NOOOoooooooOOOO, the thread I was 'caught up on' ran away and finished up and the new thread is already ahead of me by 4 pages!

Now I am of an age where I did the whole cover your great grandad's chair in sand / white gingham and paint your furniture white, to get that Scandinavian look. That was over 30 years ago & I am now paying for the same chair to be covered in a lovely cosy colour for DS's birthday. For me , that white on white / cream / taupe etc aesthetic has had its day - it was fashionable at one point. Now I have no idea what interior ideas people in California , Santa Barbara , Montecito favour. But that all white Christmas table looks old fashioned to me. I would very much say people must choose as they will , they probably wouldn't like my Christmas table But that all white to me , in the UK, looks a bit old fashioned. Given it's not for sale here though , it doesn't matter. Or she thinks Geri is going to buy the whole lot 😂

Agree, @BasiliskStare. I think there is still too much focus on Meghan rather than the actual products in the As Ever videos - and I don’t think the hair thing is pleasant to watch in any way.

I suspect there will always be some market for the ‘expensive neutral holiday decor’. Part of the trouble is that to work it also has to appear luxurious - sheepskin rugs, woollen blankets, warm fires etc.
As ever doesn’t appear warm and luxurious to me.

The design on the plates look very much like a Royal doulton service. I think it was called York.
Late mum had this china set. Plus she had a Colclough tea set. Which was blue and white.

These were memories from my childhood so I might be wrong.
