I love following the Nobel banquet in December - the Swedish royals always bring their biggest, bling jewels.

And the food looks fantastic - like the time the vegetables were designed as a Christmas wreath.

Nooo! The scholl sandal , wooden , heavy, lethal but still footwear!!! ….the nightmare of so many!! …..disclaimer….my mum occasionally used to chase us with a meat tenderising mallet on occasion too!! ….solid wood….metal spiked end!! ….no wonder we were all very fit!

Firstly, I always have complete admiration for people that have creative bones, I can’t even draw a stick figure properly! The end result is quite lovely. I’m a lazy sod and would probably have chucked it in the incinerator if I had one!

As Ever could have offered the plushies sales proceeds towards the International Day of the Girl charity drive. Old jam and unwanted sprinkles are drab and akin to a private citizen bringing unsaleable clothes to a charity shop.

Just to share my thoughts on philanthropy - people give money, time and effort. Many of us volunteer our time and effort. Wealthy people also share their millions, which means they have to have big earnings and spare millions to donate. H&M either invoice for expenses or make money from their appearances in the name of charitable giving. Goodness knows what they’re doing with the funds in Archewell, but their practice feels smutty. None of their visits this week has made me want to look up the charities to learn more about their work, which is a shame. Is she selling the burgundy outfit which has received more attention than the charities?

I do wonder if it also puts others off becoming interested in those charities that welcome their star power and gift of publicity.

The jam plushie reminds me of how confused I am by Meghan's decision to make her entire business identity about jam. It's such a generic, basic product to choose. Although I would argue that her real identity is in her handwriting, extremely manufactured and, I would guess, a pain to do as it is very mannered.

I think H&M just emphasise everything that's wrong with being royal, just using titles and privilege to further their greed and ambition. They don't care about anything else.
