I read somewhere they had two million odd in donations one year and managed five million odd in expenses.

I imagine it is supposed to work the other way round.

Next week is a big week for the Real Royal Family- State visit and Aberfan commemoration- so we are bound to have a new As Ever product / pap photos of lunch somewhere / security scare / some announcement from the office of the D and D of Sussex .

So it is a "business "? How are these "charities " not audited ??

I am laying my stall out here - I am , as is my prerogative, not going to engage in any regency related, dare I say adjacent, discussions. Ha ha - behold my capricious whim.

However back to the thread. Is one of the charities they visited the one to which H gave the 1.1m to via Children in need ? I haven't actually watched the BBC coverage or indeed read it yet , but I wonder if this is the same charity , have the BBC / press clarified it wasn't a personal donation from H , in the sense his own money , but was personal in the sense this was from the Beg foundation and he could choose where to direct it.

Do we think the pair will have clocked this day trip up as a success?

If the idea was to show the RF that they are just as popular as W&K and can pull the same crowd numbers, then surely they must have been hugely disappointed in today.

If on the other hand it’s all about making the front pages then they’d probably call it a good days work?

Either way, I’m not sure the charities were the main focus.

I don’t think the charities are ever the main focus with those two.
