Yes, I remember becoming distressed when the midwives had to replace my Entonox tank when I was in labour with DC#1. That minute without the gas and air was almost unbearable.

H’s whole account of that birth is a big self-involved mess of a narrative. Why bother telling the story? He’s so very like uncle bloody Spencer in that regard. Talk about egos …

Oh absolutely! They both have such huge egos, don't they? They don't care who they hurt, they just want to make money and trash others in the process.

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · Yesterday 14:24

I'm afraid that by this stage I regard anything the pair of them say as total fantasy on their part.

H 💯 behind this horrible exposure of their children too. The pair of them are unbelievable hypocrites

Yes Harry obviously approves of exploiting his own children when they could live completely anonymous lives but the pair of them have taken that option away from them.

MM will turn up on Thursday but it will all be in private with staged crowds.

Hmmm. I’m being careful here because discussions concerning mental health are always tricky, but with my cynical head on (which I seem to have to wear quite a lot wrt the Sussexes), I wouldn’t put it past them to have concocted the whole thing to try and make the RF look bad. The fact that Diana apparently threw herself downstairs when pregnant makes me think there could have been some Diana cos play afoot. The fact that Meghan seems to have recovered from this episode with no help makes me further suspicious. Harry insisting that “the show had to go on” and they had to go out that night and also that it would look “bad” for the RF if he asked for help seems fishy when we know he, Catherine and William were involved in Heads Together. Add to this the fact that Meghan had a maternity package that gave access to mental health help and that any pregnant woman is constantly asked how she is feeling, and that Harry had easy access to therapists, my cynicism is growing. And now we hear that Harry was depressed “for two weeks”🤔. I am afraid I am of the opinion that they use poor mental health as a form of victimhood. That is not to say that I don’t think it possible they could have suffered from poor mental health at any time, I
just don’t think it was as and when they tell us it was

Catherine had her pregnancies announced early when she was treated for HG. I can't say anyone would have been particularly surprised at a very pregnant Meghan missing an evening event.

Having had HG myself, I found it really did a number on me mentally as well as physically. She is one tough cookie for doing it three times, once was more than enough for me.

But what’s wrong with collaborating with someone who has a high profile in order to further her own agenda and foundation’s profile?

She can take a tenner’s worth of jam money and enjoy the many many thousands of new visitors to her website for the sake of afternoon tea.

I do indeed hope that many thousands of new people are looking at Malala’s apparent tolerance of luxury beliefs and raising an eyebrow. Gender identity ideology (also supported by Smart Works, of which Meghan remains a patron, I believe) represents one of the most pernicious threats to girls and their education throughout the world. Thank god for Salty Island, I say.

Catherine’s brother had severe mental health issues peaking 2016/2017 and his whole family rallied around to help. James has talked and written at length about it and talked about how supportive they all were.

It clearly matters a lot to Catherine and William.

jeffgoldblum · Yesterday 14:36

And I believe the Royal Foundation played a large part in supporting it initially?

(I refuse to name change but this is the original!)

Never forget….71 is the one ! ….accept no substitute!

It’s a terrible message for him to be giving out to people in a mental health crisis. ‘Your family could be ashamed of you or pissed off with you if you seek help’.

Stupid, dangerous man, honestly.

At our homelessness service where I live we deal with lots of of people who are ‘not feeling quite right in themselves’ and make damn sure they know that no-one is judging them as a nuisance or thinking any less of them - far from it, we stress that seeking support is admirable, positive and the start of a new day.

H’s story is a load a bollocks, frankly, and damaging. He’s not very brave, is he? Not brave enough to tell the truth, that’s for sure.

He doesn't have to tell te truth as no one is challenging him

I like James, his book was very good. He also struggled terribly with dyslexia in school. It's admirable he spoke about his struggle & from his Instagram seems to be in a good place

It seemed to me that they (both HAM and some of their supporters) felt Catherine should be responsible for Meghan to a greater degree than her husband.

Mylovelygreendress · Yesterday 14:55

Bloomandbust · Yesterday 09:51

How were they not treated with flexibility?

For a start the Sandringham summit by all accounts was a fait accompli and not a proper discussion with only one version - the RF approved version - of documents prepared for signing.

And the SA tour was in reality quite gruelling when Meghan had only had Archie four months before. H&M had had quite a heavy schedule imposed upon them and Meghan had done well with it throughout her pregnancy with Archie. But the RF always make mistakes with incomers. They get little feedback or thanks from the monarch who is the person that matters. And that’s what led her to complain to Tom Bradby when he asked her how she doing, which was basically what lead to their downfall.

My personal theory is that if one senior member in the RF had bothered to ask Meghan that question themselves, I suspect this whole family feud wouldn’t have arisen and H&M wouldn’t have left.

Been out and about on public service ( helping at Foodbank ) so now catching up and really have to respond to this .
Firstly , we only have Harry’s version of what happened at the Sandringham Summit and we all know he has a rather distant relationship with the truth .
Secondly , Meghan did not have to go on the tour . Harry said ( can’t remember where) that the late Queen suggested she stay at home but that idea was dismissed .
Also , it is well known that the late Queen saw every member of the Royal Family after they had been on an official tour to receive an update etc .
So don’t rely on HaM for honest statements. As we were so memorably told - recollections may vary .

Warmhandscoldheart · Yesterday 14:57

I agree with the many posters who say PH has no qualifications to counsellor people. He has a shared experience on many subjects but counselling is a different thing all together.
My DGC died at a young age, I can talk to other GPs who coping with that grief but I can't and wouldn't counsel them. My DDIL, on the other hand, has achieved numerous counselling qualifications since losing their DC to help other parents through their grief.
Counsellors listen and use pertinent questions to support people. They don't just read a script like PH does.

jeffgoldblum · Yesterday 14:58

And without wishing to sound harsh !
anyone who rocks up attempting to use Spencer’s book of lies and made up bollocks as evidence will be viewed in exactly the same way as those who also tried the same with Harry’s book of shite ! , almost everyone on this thread will judge you and your grasp of reality.

Ah well, I reckon any time one finds oneself agreeing with Piers; it’s time to step back and reflect I reckon.

His diatribes about MM came from a place of bruised ego - how dare a woman drop him like a hot brick - and can hardly be said to be measured or proportionate.

Anyone who believes people who have lied about everything and everyone and have no morals at all should probably take a step back and reflect on that !
perhaps you should re-examine the evidence before you make yourself look foolish.

Perhaps it's wise to agree with someone when they are found to be telling the truth, and disagree with them when they aren't.
It's not good to just blindly believe people, like Harry and Meghan, or Piers Morgan.

Yes, and it's fascinating how @Bloomandbust on this thread has repeated some of the Sussex claims long since proven to be lies.
Especially the terrible lies about the RF not helping Meghan when she had serious MH problems.

Bloomandbust · Yesterday 15:06

TheAutumnCrow · Yesterday 14:01

At that time in Kensington (and in that Borough of London) there was also a free confidential mental health helpline in operation, well-advertised and well-supported. There was/is also The Samaritans, also confidential, and highly recommended. From Heads Together, Harry will have known this.

Oh come on now. I imagine that Meghan was prevented from availing herself of these public services because of confidentiality concerns. Someone could make an absolute fortune from any potential worries or complaints she she had about being in the RF.

She had the very best private maternity care . Why not talk to someone there ?

It was the staggeringly tone deaf use of “swan song” of evidence that pretty much finished it for me!!! 🤷‍♀️

But it wasn't the RFs place, Harry is her husband, her next of kin, it is his job to look after his wife & perhaps Doria also as Megan's mother & closest family member.

My mother & hubby are my first port of calls when I have something personal & private going on in my life. Certainly not my in laws lovely as they are!

How interesting that you don't address the other points about help readily available; Heads Together, Julia Samuels and Meghan being under Consultant care at the Portland Hospital?
Why did Harry do nothing to help his wife?
It was a text or phone call away.
Harry would rather see his wife desperate, struggling and unhappy...as long as he could trash his family for money.
What a vile man.
