Still interested, still not bored….a small request please 🙏…can we try to keep criticism to actions and behaviour and rather than getting personal.😁

They still feature on the RF website so it's highly unlikely they will be stripped off their titles. They have always pushed the HIHO and looks like they have it

It doesn't look like that at all.

I think they have a form of HIHO but perhaps not quite what they first fished for. (In that they swan about in the fashion of/what they think the public want to see)

I think for a successful HIHO they needed the support of the public, if not some sort of ‘love’ from them.

They don’t have that. I doubt they can recapture the support they once had.

I think at some point BP might politely reiterate the 'not members of the RF' communique.

As someone said, interesting that the DM are now actually identifying that there is a Sussex Squad and calling them that.

Edited

But that still wouldn't be 'HIHO', because 'HIHO' isn't a 'thing'.

They'd just be high profile people who do 'charity work' and happen to be related to the King.

I think they may well reiterate their stance.

Because they will have to.

I think boundaries will forever be pushed.

I’ve been looking for Celia’s Insta and can’t find it, can anyone help?

Fair enough @IcedPurple

They will likely see it as HIHO. They will continue to act as if it is so. They certainly seem to be.

Your last sentence explains what we think it is but not what they may think it is.

The run up to Christmas will be telling as there is so much going on for the royal family... Catherine's carol concert etc & Prince Charles, they will probably try to compete for column inches & that may be where KC reiterates their positions as private citizens.
How far removed they from the royal family will only be amplified in the lead up to Christmas when they are missing all the RF events..

AlexandraCarrington · 11/10/2026 13:49

I think they have a form of HIHO but perhaps not quite what they first fished for.

In their idea of HIHO, the 'half in' part meant still getting to attend royal events, with the associated (global) publicity. They're not getting that at all.

I'd say they would have hoped A&L would be front & centre at all royal events at Christmas too, was that going to have been the grand reveal

Mylovelygreendress · 11/10/2026 13:54

The announcing visits in advance seems a bit odd . W and C rarely do that nowadays presumably on advice from their security staff yet HaM are so paranoid about security that they tell the world what they are doing !
It’s almost as if they want something bad to happen ….

I hope things are better for you and yours soon.

It’s all happening here as well. Ive had post viral fatigue for 6 weeks now and my boy is going through a very bad period in relation to his autism, and related mental health diagnosis. It’s not a good combination when you want to be/need to be on your A game for your son.

lots of love to everyone out there who’s going through hard times right now ❤️

@TheTwerkingDuchessOfMonteshitshow, please do get as much rest as you can. and do your best not to push yourself (I know it can be difficult) to reduce the chances of post-viral fatigue turning into chronic fatigue syndrome. I speak from experience there.

depends how Thursday's "event" goes. They might bring children with them to ensure no boos

Oh now Meghan is promoting/modelling for some charity associated with Oprah selling “Mom” sweatshirts - “it’s the little things” 🤷‍♀️

But they're not working royals? And they’re not even being accepted by the RF on a social level, there is literally no “in” whatsoever.

I know they’re not working royals.

It doesn’t seem to be stopping them swanning about as if they are.

It is maddening.

What I don’t understand about this new spread grift …is how exactly it’s going to be bought by U.K. consumers? , firstly i wasn’t aware it had been cleared for sale here and secondly if it’s being bought from her US website and shipped here ( is that set up yet?) the shipping and taxes will be astronomical and more expensive than the product! ….can someone explain the logistics to me?

I don’t know about the issues related to importing a food product but yes, shipping and tax will make it very expensive.

I recently made a big mistake on a whim - loved a necklace Catherine wears from time to time and when I looked up Laura Lombardi found it was surprisingly affordable due to being gold plate (on brass). I had a little money left over from selling some of my mother’s jewellery I had inherited and didn’t like so decided to buy one. Plus earrings.
came within my budget. Shipping $38 🤦‍♀️

Next thing a demand for £78 tax. 🙄🤦‍♀️😭

So it basically cost me about £100 more than price (about 1/3 extra (I couldn’t find a stockist in UK though net a porter has some of her items).

Now they are here I’m not sure I like them. I don’t think I have the stature to carry chunky jewellery like that though it might be OK over a polo neck come winter.

Hey ho. You live and learn. Won’t make that mistake again.

Making a few appearances is meaningless.

I think they're trying to swan around more like Diana.

It also doesn't really matter. You shouldn't let the daft antics of a couple of nitwits drive you mad.

It’s also too late in the day (As Ever) - The International Day of the Girl is today - not much notice for anyone to consider making.a purchase in that window - unless MM is pledging this for a week or a month - but I suspect not.

Probably a last minute clap back to the advent calendar/vicar furore. “See, I care about giving to others” 🙄

It was only an opinion.

What also jumps out at me from those Claridges photos is how Meghan is centred in the photo - they should both be in the centre rather than Malala pushed off to the side. Urgh.

I know that pap photos are taken rapidly, then gone over and carefully chosen to deliver whatever message the publication wishes to put out there.

I feel that HaM should take lessons in decorum; both are overly touchy-feely with each other, and also inappropriately invasive with others who are not comfortable with them over-stepping personal space. I believe Malala, a young woman who has been through so much in her young life, is presenting a measured, more cautious demeanor with M, while M is presenting quite a different appearance for the camera, the contrast of which says a great deal; imo.

They don't look "half in" to me, but they certainly look "half out". As in, over here, but private citizens and not "in" with the RF at all.
