Still interested, still not bored….a small request please 🙏…can we try to keep criticism to actions and behaviour and rather than getting personal.😁

They are playing a dangerous game as they are effectively disregarding KC’s instructions .

It is IMO a mistake to assume that the palace has no further ammunition in the locker they can deploy if the HaMs don't behave themselves.

It's difficult to fathom the stupidity, really. They apparently want the DC to have a relationship with their DGF and then proceed to do all they can to piss that DGF off.

And it goes beyond the ‘we are just doing our thing’ - it transcended into viciousness when MM posted the swan emoji - very happy to let the world know she enjoyed the public character assassination of her FIL - that’s another deep, dark, malevolent trench in her psyche that she’s revealed.

Her agenda is now transparent and she won’t be allowed to be within a mile of the RF.

I wouldn't call it a grift. What scam is she doing? Plenty of businesses collaborate with people or with other organisations and donate their proceeds sold on x day for a cause. Its a pretty normal thing to take place and we don't call those organisations grifters.

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 11/10/2026 11:21

Do you get the impression that MM enjoys the satisfaction of immediate revenge without thinking of longer term consequences?

I'd assume BP are watching the behaviour of both of them and drawing some conclusions from it.

Do we think that the profits from As Ever on any given day - even a special World Whatnot Day - would come to more than the cost of tea for two at Claridge's?

I will add that H&Ms shenanigans destroyed the Queen & Prince Phillip's final years, the public haven't forgotten that.. no amout of spin or damage control can undo what they've done to the royal family & to their own reputations.

Final weeks and days. Prince Phillip was hospitalised and then on end of life care when H&M chose to throw the grenade that was the OW interview into their own family who were focused and preoccupied with the imminent death of their husband, father, grandfather. Despicable.

RAVEC assign security based on threat level. It doesn't depend on their status at all, or who Harry's Dad is, a point he has never grasped. They will get security if the intelligence warrants it, if it doesn't they won't.

I didn't explain myself well.

If round-the-clock protection isn't granted, can they still use the old system (28 days' notice for a specific event) or will it be all or nothing?

Not sure why I'm reposting as I'm running out of interest in them - the current soap opera episode has become tedious....

BunnyBunbunbun · 11/10/2026 10:26

They should have just done what Edward and Sophie did - both of whom were treated horrendously by the media back in the day - and had some kind of career or followed their own interests first, before jumping head first into the life of a working royal couple. Even William and Catherine spent some years before becoming full-time working royals working (in William's case) or focusing on their babies (in Catherine's case). Even the late Queen spent time as a navy wife. Yes, Meghan had had a whole other working life and Harry had been in the military, but Meghan knew nothing about being a royal and very little about Britain.

After having that important personal and family time, they could have gradually started taking on more royal duties. This would have been especially helpful for Meghan. The late Queen was right to suggest Meghan could have continued acting. It's actually odd, thinking about it now, that they jumped so quickly into trying to be working royals. I'm sure they insisted on it and Harry was trying to make Meghan a new Diana.

Yes it would have been great for both of them either a year or two out. Initially the British public were very welcoming of Meghan & were very happy to see Harry settling down.
However Meghan said herself she was "boots on the ground " & "hitting the ground running ".. Space to learn & grow would have been great for both of them to learn the ropes as a couple.
Harry obviously had plenty of appearance experience but a lot were also with W&C as a trio.

AlexandraCarrington · 11/10/2026 11:32

It’s an ‘As ever’ grift with Malala in the centre …

Except that Malala isn't in the centre. In those photos it's Meghan in the centre and Malala off to the side. I wonder if that's how they were posed, or if they were cropped like that for publication.

I agree they can make whatever appearances they like - minor soap stars do it. It's just been made clear they aren't in any way to be regarded as official royal visits.

Have they signed up with a agency or something, or are they getting these gigs through Markus Anderson?

As for a rival court - the actual court receives and hosts Heads of State, Heads of Govt, ambassadors, high commissioners, and leading figures from all areas of national and international life. Who are H&M going to be hosting, and where?

So what is what is donated isn't thousands or millions. Again where is the grift? Whats the scam?

OneJustPinkAnt · 11/10/2026 11:34

BunnyBunbunbun · 11/10/2026 10:35

How do they have the half-in/half-out they wanted when they do not represent the King and they are not working royals?

Anyone can do charity work. That's nothing to do with being royal. Even various non-working royals (e.g. Beatrice and Eugenie, Freddie Windsor, probably loads more of them) do charity work, but no one thinks this makes them a half-in/half-out working royal who represents the King.

To clarify I meant that that although they aren't working royals they are acting like they are with their engagement announcements and Megan still has her commercial stuff plus the press are reporting on everything they do.

I would say that it's as close to half in/half out as they can get and in my view it's to force the RF to bring them back into the fold.

TheAutumnCrow · 11/10/2026 11:35

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 11/10/2026 09:43

It strikes me that H&M are acting like a dumped partner by all this public strutting around as if they're really royal - 'just look at what you're missing by dumping me.' Except they did the dumping and the RF isn't missing them.

Very perceptive. Often the dumper blames the dumped party, and expresses outrage when they’re not welcomed back at the time of their choosing.

‘Actually, Henry, I’ve moved on without you.’

’But … but … what about the children!’

‘Perhaps you should have thought of them when you walked out.’

’Now you’re just sounding bitter and crazy.’

’Let communicate via solicitors, Henry.’

Ad nauseum.

Noseyoldcow · 11/10/2026 10:37

So, all the jam profits are going to charity. Thats 100% of naff all then.

Those cakes & scones in the photos look yummy! Yep a big fat zero or if even few sell it's only 12 dollars a pot...

That’s quite a brazen statement about the public engagements - a royal template and covered by the media. Maybe this is the iron fist in the velvet glove punching back at KC3 public letter stating their limitations.

I agree that they will continue this farce - there are enough desperate charities who’s coffers and profile will be instantly boosted by H&M involvement even if the press coverage of H&M themselves is critical the charity gets the profile boost. And of course the media gets the cash through clicks and we get the rib-tickling belly laughs daily with the ridicule provided free by H&M.

Still can’t see how this translates to a revenue stream for them personally - unless they are funded behind the scenes by bad actor disrupters? They are always ‘useful idiots’ for someone - OW was the first shark to sniff them out.

Edited

If they are private citizens how do the media even know their movements? This is totally contradicting their security concerns.

Are all 3 joint visits happening on Thursday? It's not particularly clear - it mentions the 1st visit being on Thursday then immediately moves on to discuss the other 2 events as if they'll be going from one to the other.

Not particularly in-depth then, almost like flying visits just for personal pr and photo ops. Absolutely nothing like the newer Royal template.

Also it seems to fit the recent pattern - the day she met Malala for tea, she also had lunch with friends in Hammersmith. Sounds like barely any time was spent with either (or maybe that's just me whose lunch with friends ends up taking all afternoon).

From a PR perspective it all seems a bit overwhelming - surely you'd want to spread things out a bit, rather than cram things into a few hours?

It means a flurry of headlines (hopefully positive), but then nothing, surely you'd aim for consistency and longevity?

I see the SS script on TwiX re Harry getting booked is - video with sound or it didn't happen, also it wasn't Harry getting booked but the refs decision. Interesting the Mail have specifically pushed back on that.

I had a little exchange with a Squaddie on TwiX yesterday who was insisting Harry wasn't copying William and it was the other way around. I asked which rugby team did Harry support them, him being an absolute lifelong fan whom William was copying (just with football). They answered back with him being patron of
RFU and going to all the England games. I pointed out, supporting the national team is the bare minimum but it's not the same as supporting an actual team. Still waiting on an answer.

Your Squaddie needs to keep up, Catherine is the current patron of the RFU, has been since 2022.

Which is why it irritated me to see H doing a (pre or post?) match meet and greet complete with photos - if he’s attending as a private citizen surely he would just take his seat and watch the game like everybody else.

I think it was very much an attempt to emulate William at the football matches, neither H nor MM can think for themselves, they both need a template.

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 11/10/2026 11:40

Often the dumper blames the dumped party, and expresses outrage when they’re not welcomed back at the time of their choosing.

OT but my ex did a version of this. Walked out, put me through two years of hell then when we finally split said "Let's sell the house I'd like to do a deal over it but you couldn't live here without me, could you?'

In retrospect he probably meant I couldn't handle it financially (and he was probably right at the time) , but at the time it came over as "Losing me is SO awful for you, isn't it?"

NellyOlsenn · 11/10/2026 11:41

Noseyoldcow · 11/10/2026 10:37

So, all the jam profits are going to charity. Thats 100% of naff all then.

OMG the audacity - surprised Malala fell for being exploited like this.

Will be very interesting to see the numbers - assume it’s for purchases on the International Day of the Girl only ? Then this donation will have to show up in Malala’s accounts.

I think this initiative along with the previous IG post thanking the squad for making her a successful founder - is in fact her swan song - As Ever is bust but she’s gaslighting and going out in a flurry of glitter. All of the new stock items ‘are coming’ ‘pre-order’ ie don’t exist until she has a critical amount to press start on the production line.

We need two more vicars to suggest an alternative ethical tea company where all the profits go to a girls charity…..

Let the bun fight commence.

Can we stop weaponizing words that don’t apply? A grifter is someone who legally defrauds people. So unless you can prove they have done this it shouldn't be used. Disliking how they make their living or criticising their output is totally valid, but calling it a 'grift' is using the wrong word just to make an insult sound more serious than it is.

The ad is carefully worded as "proceeds" - does Meghan mean profits? or full gross receipts? If it is the profits Meghan still gets paid for the product! And does Archewell get a cut?

It has also been noted by the eagle eyed that a lot os Meghan's stock has late 2026/early 2027 expiry dates. So a charity sale is a great way to get paid for products that can't be sold in a few months.

In fact it's exactly the tactics used by MLM "huns" when they have a garage full of Aloe gloop, make-up, juice etc .... they announce a "collaboration" to send "care packages" to hospitals, hospices, care homes etc that the gullible donate to to... yet the MLM hun still gets paid the money for the sale.

If this was totally charity driven - why do we need to buy As Ever products at all? Just donate directly to Malala's charity!

I think the poster may have meant her expression. I’ve certainly seen Malala looking happier.

I think they’re hoping for a full return to royal duties along with whatever stipend / allowance that brings.

Whatever working royals get is supposed to cover the expenses of being a working royal. Most of it will probably go on staff salaries, plus travel, wardrobe etc. It's not money in their pockets.

As I understand it, the Sovereign Grant covers operational expenses like travel and staff, but they (not Anne I don’t think, and not William these days now that he has his own Duchy income, but the Edinburghs) also get an allowance from Charles for personal / lifestyle expenses. Harry was largely funded by Charles and the Duchy of Cornwall before they left. I imagine that’s the deal they’d like to return to.

I googled it & there was an article from a month ago with" Rival Court" in the headline😂
They are definitely trying to present themselves as some type of court, alternative, royal who knows what their game plan is

The former BBC royal correspondent Peter Hunt suggests William, the future king, would be “apoplectic” at the Sussexes’ return, and “rival courts” being established.

Who on earth is Peter Hunt? Never heard of him. Just goes to show it’s two-bit has-been Sussex-WhatsApp wannabes who are bandying about the ‘rival court’ nonsense. They’re all grifting away together.
