Yes, they've been here several weeks now, so if they don't have security now, it's unlikely they ever will unless the threat environment changes.

Have the Spare, Netflix etc amounts been confirmed anywhere ? I know there has been a lot of speculation but I don’t think any of us actually believe they received $100,000,000 from Netflix for one series of moaning plus some flops .

If it was around 1980 then she very possibly did - he and Steve Wozniak were in London selling Apple shares for the first time. I was at the meeting - at some posh hotel - and Jobs was quite dull. Spotify was another 20 million so that's 142 million made from selling their "truths"..
How much more was made from selling out the royals to other publications... those ones I've linked are the ones we know of..

Just to add most of the figures listed above are in US dollars so the Spare gtift is actually 27 million (us dollars)

100m upfront, or over a number of years and contingent on them actually producing stuff?

H&M will have earned many 10s of millions from inter alia Spare ( maybe their most lucrative thing - that seems to be the most provable one 20m advance and possibly another 2m ? ) NF , Spotify etc. How many 10s I suspect no-one will ever know & headline figures will be pre tax and before other expenses. But with that and H's inheritances they are either not investing properly and living within their ( hugely comfortable ) means , or they underestimated their other talents and spent too much too soon. I don't know , I suspect no-one ever will , not for the foreseeable future. I reckon they're OK for the while. 😉

Re security, I think there is an element of H which is a bit paranoid about security , I think there's an element of him not understanding why W gets it and not him. I think there is a bit of an element he's missing what he had before the great flounce shift* and wanting it back. However given his responses to the ANL case and the Ravec review I am not convinced he really understands many of these decisions clearly 😊I'll try to express this well , because intelligence isn't a virtue. There are many ways of being smart , savvy , emotionally intelligent which are huge advantages to a person. However, I don't think think H from ( and this as evidence ) the responses from him to not winning the Ravec appeal or the ANL case come across as a person willing to think through an argument ( with help if needed ) . And only seeing your own side of an argument can be limiting.

*I just realised ( for those those of you of a language bent ) this phrase came into my mind and when I had to study the Great Vowel Shift at university over 40 years ago. It wasn't my favourite subject. Sorry for derail.

Apparently they got the 100 million upfront but the deal had to be extended after they didn't follow through on their commitments

I thought it was suggested that they didn’t get all that money from Netflix, it was the amount for a number of projects and they got dumped after the doc/cooking show, so it wasn’t anywhere near what was quoted.

Many articles are suggesting they got the 100 million upfront..

The Guardian article says the Netflix figure was "reportedly" $100 million, i.e. they have no actual info but are just repeating the figure that keeps being repeated.

The $100 million was also for a five-year period and they certainly didn't make enough content for five years. As such, they certainly didn't receive $100 million from Netflix.

Exactly they have made over 100 million that has been published how more have they made by selling articles about the royal family to publications all over the world that we would never hear of Japan, Australia, Canada...
It is staggering to think they made that much money from selling out the royal family & now they want forgiveness & to get back inside the inner circle..
