Still interested, still not bored….a small request please 🙏…can we try to keep criticism to actions and behaviour and rather than getting personal.😁

I just think the fact is , H&M decided WRF didn't suit them (& that's fine ) They thought originally they could do it "their way" - No Sinatra please 😂& they took a risk on earning $100m + on gossiping / sniping about the RF and that they then would be a bankable couple. The bankable couple didn't work out as well as they thought , and the initial OW / NF series sort of laid out a stall they may possibly regret . And they are falling back on the royalness.

I'm still not convinced that with astute investing H's inheritances and the money they did get from the original deals wouldn't keep them going very well for a long time. Especially with what seems like their amounts of friends willing to lend them things.

ETA my mother rang before I could post so sorry for any cross postings - as you were

Just watching the rugby on tv- Leicester v Gloucester. They showed Prince Harry in the crowd- there was noticeable booing when he came up on the giant screen 😬

Ouch that is going to hurt

AlexandraCarrington · 09/10/2026 20:48

the pals have other friends, serious jobs, estates to run, families

And when they meet, as well as having a bit of a laugh, they'll be having serious grown up conversations about jobs and estates and life in general. What would Harry have to contribute?

Gonners · 09/10/2026 20:57

He could talk about the intricacies of jam-making and cruel people criticising ill-fitting clothes and about the indifference of the general public and how It's All So Unfair, I suppose.

SqueakyDinosaur · 09/10/2026 21:02

And security. Don't forget security.

Presumably there are no invitations to any Royal events.

It’s a pre-emptive move. They’re letting people know we won’t be around at Christmas so there’s no point in inviting us anywhere - all the while knowing the mantelpiece wouldn’t be weighed down by the weight of seasonal invites.

Yes these men are no longer young chaps in their 20s footloose & fancy free... they are high net worth & high status men in their 40s...

The two things high net worth & high status individuals value more than anything is discretion & privacy.

Are they going to risk that by leaving time bomb liability Harry into the inner circle again... nope they will close ranks & gatekeep like there's no tomorrow!

fuschiaproudparrot · 09/10/2026 21:07

I'm reading all this nonsense about Harry in this Masterclass :

"You would think I had the best help in the world. I’m a prince for God’s sake" 🙄🙄🙄

I did google. The Telegraph and the Express are reporting similar https://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/2256016/prince-harry-booed-leicester-tigers-rugby

I do think H needs to understand he is no longer the cheeky chappy which it does appear the MIGS curated.
I'm not saying in the long term he couldn't rehabilitate himself , but I hope he is listening to a wider audience and deciding how to behave. (I can't remember who posted the meme - H asking for a wake up call and the chap on the phone says something like ,( of course , Everyone thinks you're a c*nt . )

That said being unpopular doesn't necessarily = Gov funded protection.

Prince Harry 'booed' as he makes surprise public appearance without Meghan

Prince Harry has stepped out this evening.

For me?

He is channelling Henry VIII there.

I believe he was an utter twat too. Although he could possibly blame it on a head injury and festering limb.

You make a good and sad point Kingy, none of those grown men would risk anything appearing in a book, NF, pod/chatshow/post. They will all have assets - both material and familial to protect.

And Im sure many have connections in royal proximal* circles by blood or business that they can't jeopardise.

*Definitely not adjacent 😄

I thought the wake up call one was Mrs Danvers but I could be wrong. Speedy threads these are.

Also if there is going to be an alligence to anyone the old chums will very likely side with William as he is the future king & George after him..

LOL, Reminds me of Reagan and Nancy were being driven to Camp David and the local were lined up and flipped them off. Nancy "asked what are they doing" and Reagan replied "their telling us we are number 1".

True story from a friend that was secret service and was in the car

😂 Too funny! I'd say there will be plenty of ego stroking going on in the Sussex household tonight!
"After my afternoon tea with Malala yesterday H everyone loves us again & are so happy we are here"..!

ShamedBySiri · 09/10/2026 21:38

“Harry's Leicester appearance is one of the few he has made since returning. Having previously served as the patron of the Rugby Football Union (RFU) - a role now held by the Princess of Wales - he has remained a supporter of the game.”

I guess somehow there have to be some sort of veto on him appearing at matches where the POW +/- William/children are present.
Hard luck Harry. Another door slammed shut.
