Still interested, still not bored….a small request please 🙏…can we try to keep criticism to actions and behaviour and rather than getting personal.😁

Great news (and hopefully they won't come back). Let's hope it's not just another headline-grabbing lie.

Mylovelygreendress · 09/10/2026 19:24

Presumably there are no invitations to any Royal events.

KilkennyCats · 09/10/2026 19:24

Nobody in California wants them either, so it’ll just be that pair of saddos and their children sitting round the Christmas tree, alone as ever.
What they’ve taken from those kids...
There’ll be a reckoning when they grow up and realise.

Or like bring some contraband in in her bag, as an alternative to Claridge's? Maybe that's what was in the book bag?

You reckon she was topping up her wine glass from a bottle she’d bought in Asda? 😁

😁

Ah wow Jeff you visited the Bayeux Tapestry!

Did she try to flog her jam spread to them I wonder ?

Her own jam "launched" on the day of the Claridge-Nobel-scone-date.

Also most of the Suits cast - the people she had been working with closely for the previous five years. I think only Abigail Spenser made the cut for the evening party. I remember thinking that was very odd at the time.

Yet Meg reportedly led prayers for the cast before filming?

Just so confusing for them going back and forth

Ok I genuinely feel a wee bit bad for Harry re: his Eton mates. He was seen a while back randomly knocking on doors in London trying to find them.

It made me think then had MM isolated him from everyone? Not just RF but all his genuine BC connections*?

Kingsandqueenz · 09/10/2026 19:48

That article made it sound like they had a choice to spend it in UK.
The reality is there will be no invitations anywhere so better to make out they are flying back to Cali to spend it with Doria.

Doria could very easily fly to the UK & spend it here with them...

So do I they were a good ,loyal group of lads & they had lots of fun & memories together... obviously won't be meeting up with them for Christmas pints...

To quote a royal prince of England:

"What Meghan wants, Meghan gets"

I think he and Dorian have asked much input into their next plans as the hamlets do, sadly

So do I. I feel it will really hit home for Harry in the lead up to Christmas when Charlotte, George & Louis will be pictured attending lovely Christmas events & carol services.

Surely it must pain him that his little children have zero relationship with their aunt & uncle and three first cousins. It's very sad.

Most parents hate to see their children missing out on things but Lili & Archie are missing out purely on the unforgivable actions & behaviour of their parents.

occhiali · 09/10/2026 20:04

Sadly I think the only thing that pains Harry is that he is no longer a popular working royal.

He's too old & angry to pull off the cheeky Harry The Lad act now.. it's sad as the British public loved him & put up with his antics. It all went so so wrong

occhiali · 09/10/2026 20:14

They tolerated some of his antics and loved, I think, is a strong word.

Certain antics showed him for exactly who he is.

Cheeky chappy lads are usually arseholes and so it came to pass.

That said, so many wished him well when we thought he had settled down. And then he reverted to type.

It is bad enough to say he let himself down. He then went on to let his family down. And then his country.

I don’t think there is redemption.

Kingsandqueenz · 09/10/2026 20:20

There definitely is no redemption now...

But the headlines were jokey "Harry Potter" & "flashing the crown jewels" he was young & living it up with his mates then it all went Pete Tong after the wedding...

I think this is the problem - Harry assumed that he could just pick up his old Eton/Army mates again when he decided to.

However he lost touch when he started dating Meghan and now it's almost a decade later and the pals have moved on and are not necessarily up for daytime drinks in the Cotswolds - the pals have other friends, serious jobs, estates to run, families and some are not in the UK anymore.

About a month or so ago on one of Neil Sean's youtube things - he claimed to have spoken to some of Harry's old mates and most were rather wary of reconnecting. They were unsure of HAM's intentions of moving back and didn't want to be part of the HAM show and used as content for "Harry returns as Prince of England" narrative for pap photos or Netflix etc.

I imagine most of them can't stand Meghan either.

Headlines of him joking about jewels, scrapping with press and strutting about in a uniform (we all know the one) was where it started to go wrong for a lot of people.

The wedding and subsequent events were just the rubber stamp.

Yes it's understandable why they would be wary. If I recall Meghan wasn't too fond of Harry's friends either so maybe that was another factor in the drift...

I think also in the post-flounce years, the world is a different place. I can't speak for everyone (but I'm going to 😁) but we've been through:

a pandemic, the Queen and Prince Phillip died, KC3 and PoW have/ had cancer, we've had more prime ministers than Meghan has flower sprinkles, Trump is bloody well back, the planet is on fire and the economy is tanking while vast swathes of us can't fill a tank because it's around £2/L and inflation is outpacing growth. There's still a war in Europe and no one knows wtf is happening in other countries I won't talk about because it's too deraily for here.

So I think although 2018 isn't even a decade ago, it feels a helluva lot longer and the working royals have been so stoic and have (imho) kept morale going to the best they can, annnnnnnnd HaMz are going on flouncey-unflouncing-poor-meing and wondering why we aren't all queuing to adore them like the magi at the Nativity.

Ok. I'm off me soapbox now.

occhiali · 09/10/2026 20:28

I would add that I would be very wary of someone who dumped lifelong friends too for a new partner.

That isn’t on her but on him.
