Just posting as Chelsy was in the Royal Family folds for many years.
What a beautiful family & life she has. Very happy for her. Her life looks so idyllic, what a handsome husband too!

Prince Harry's ex Chelsy Davy avoided marriage before meeting husband

In a candid post, the Zimbabwe-born socialite, who dated Harry on and off for seven years from 2004, says she was more committed to having fun than being a mother or in a meaningful relationship.

OP, it is too much you going on about poor Archie and Lili. You were doing it on your last thread too
Just leave the little children out of it.

You are making yourself look like a complete fool who is so obsessed with disparaging H&M you can't think straight.
Just take a break from this hate. You will feel better for it.

My parents never came to mine or my siblings' weddings. Not our choice.

I’m so sorry. That’s painful.

I spent YEARS worrying about my wedding. I started around age 8.

Agreed.

And I know you may disagree but if someone is going to even speak about them I prefer the nickname. It’s at least keeps their names out of stranger’s mouths.

It's not hate it's pity. They said they would never live it the UK yet here they are . More lies... they are constantly being exposed for their contradictions.

Pity is a nasty thing.

Why do you pity them? They're a rich couple with two healthy children (🤞🏼).
Pity those in war zones or with sick children, or stuck in poor housing.

The worst was people asking what was wrong.
They never saw their grandchildren. Their loss.

It's not stick though. It is the truth. Why was her mother the only family member of hers at the wedding? That in itself is extremely odd given the huge scale of the wedding, celebrities you have never met being given precedence over your own flesh & blood.

What message is that sending your kids?

they didn't have kids when they got married.

Well obviously kids are going to ask when they see the wedding videos, photos & read the articles?
"Where was Grandad Markle? Where are all your aunts, uncles, cousins, step brother & sister, the niece you loved so much, Mom"?

You obviously don't know much about children if you don't believe they question things. Kids question everything
Doing the family tree in school will be hard when the kids have no relations with practically anyone from either side of the tree...

I moved far away and so didn’t have people asking family Questions. The worst for me is pity. Pity isn’t kind and caring. It’s gawking. It’s a way of feeling superior and making the other person smaller.

We had family friends that never had a bad day in their lives. They meant well, but made it obvious that they “felt sorry” for us.

Now that I’m an adult they’ve had some things go awry. Some true heartache. Their money won’t make up for it and their relationships are as broken as ours were.

I truly don’t wish it on them. But I won’t do them the injustice of showing pity, either.

School family trees are a nightmare. Should be banned.

I thought schools were supposed to stop that for obvious reasons?
I remember when mine were at Primary School they made Grandparents Day cards and the teacher asked mine if there was anyone special they'd like to make a card for, which I thought was nice. They chose an aunt.

Monty36 · 08/10/2026 16:27

The media is why she left. She could not cope with the British media. As well as the others.
She looked a bit wistful at his wedding. A bit ‘that could have been me’.
Am glad she keeps quiet. Her father is very rich and she has no need for fame nor finance.

simpsonthecat · 08/10/2026 16:30

'Pity' that is dressed up as hate for their parents is abhorrent.

No family trees are very much still in schools as well as "The History of Me" .

I very much understand the pain of having to make cards for parents & grandparents especially if they are deceased or not.. I think that's been done away with in many schools now though

I think Chelsy and Catherine would have been quite the pair, the complement each other well and would have been the star women of the royal family.

Instead we got the permanently offended, constantly hard done by, always complain and always explain (even if no one wants to hear it) Meghan.

So don't blame Meghan and Harry for their families!

Chelsy was Harry's girlfriend for years & attended many royal events & weddings, the British public was very fond of her & it is lovely to see her living such an idyllic life with her beautiful family.

The British public were very fond of her ?? Were they ? I barely remember the woman.

My point is they cut off both sides of the family & Thomas Markle numerous times has asked for a reconciliation & to meet his son in law & grandkids.
He is 82, ill & provided Meghan with a very good start in life by paying for a very expensive private Catholic education. It would be the Christian thing to do to let the grandkids meet their grandfather before he passes & they can access all the articles about Thomas begging to meet them...

Which is a good thing! If the press hadn't liked Chelsy they would have let the public know
All the recent articles about Chelsy have also been very complimentary & rightly so!

They had very similar upbringings & would have a similar inner circle of friends. If I recall correctly Pippa's friends were very much in Chelsy's circle.
Catherine & Chelsy would have been a great team. Both women know their worth & the desire to be "the star" wouldn't have been there.

I don't think Archie and Lilibet will struggle to find info for their Family Tree, at least on their dad's side. The whole class will be studying it in history.
