Wow, this is just... I mean, no shots of streets or even the outside OR inside of the places she mentions. It's so choppy, quick cuts, moving camera, shots of just her legs, her with a "model pout" on. It wasn't a "day in the life" at all.

It just really, really shows she wanted fame. It was a video about her. And, considering she went straight from Suits to dating Harry, it's reasonable to assume that her desire for fame hadn't suddenly stopped.

Well, she's got fame. But I wonder if it's making her truly happy.

Do you know . I'm getting a bit pissed off with H&M treating the the RF as their meal ticket. If you've got something sale worthy to sell , sell it. If you have something noteworthy to say, say it. But have the decency to do it as Harry and Meghan and if your main title is Mom - embrace it and give up all the other ones ( you have by marriage) . My opinion only , I reckon if the titles were removed M would be Meghan ( formerly The Duchess of Sussex ) . Oh I don't know , but really without H being second son of KC , where would those two be with their innate skills ? I know it's been said before so sorry everyone for saying it again

Finally, Harry has never met Meghan's father - who knows what lies Meghan has told Harry and her friends about him? I don't think she wanted him there and risk contradicting her or other stories coming out. She trusted Doria to keep her mouth shut
@Lunde this is exactly what I said on their wedding day; I reckon she threatened Doria with exposing her past if she said anything detrimental about Meghan.

I suspect Doria doesn't know a lot of things about her from before she met Harry. It seems they weren't close at all before the engagement. It's all so odd.

She's a great deal more naive than I take her for if she thinks the security services don't know all there is to know about her. And what the security services know, I should think TLQ knew, in outline if not in detail.

I think I have missed most of the last 2/3 threads and popped up here at page 23. I did catch the bit about ss attacking a couple of vicars, absolutely disgusting and I felt the need to find meaningful chocolate company and donate a few advent calendars to food bank. I sent an email to the company yesterday to say how appalled I was at the behaviour. I got an unexpected reply this morning which just makes me think what a decent bunch they are.

I too am absolutely sick of the hams, I had a mother who spent her life upsetting, insulting and trying to get a reaction, desperate for attention but the harder she pushed the more everyone withdrew, she knew people especially women hated her, she didn't care, she loved turning up and making others uncomfortable. People avoided her but rarely confronted her, it wasn't worth the aggro.

I'm just not convinced that MM is prone to deep thinking on a level beyond the purely mercenary transactions of what-can-I-gain from a person/situation/connection. And I'm not sure she'd care what MI5/6/MIGS knew if it came out after she'd benefitted from her time in proxy princess mode.

I think you’re right. Of course the secret services do due diligence on the whole family. The late Q would definitely have known. I know a lot is made of the notorious photo of the Q’s tragic face at the wedding but yes, I think she knew that things were wrong and saw serious trouble ahead, especially as by that time she’d experienced tiaragate etc.

The highly dysfunctional and blabbermouth Markle family would certainly have been a red flag. I don’t think H could have made a worse choice if he’d set out to do so.

I must confess that at the time of the wedding I felt a bit sorry for Meghan - it seemed her family were just trying to make money out of the connection and were an embarrassment.
Obviously now I realise this was the story she needed us to believe. Then I heard she had invited people from Hollywood who had barely met her and the rest is history.

There is currently a LOT of stuff on X . Most of it I take with a huge pinch of salt but the repeated suggestions that she was connected to Epstein and AMW are not going away. Another story doing the rounds is that Tyler Perry stood as guarantor for their mortgage and they defaulted and that’s why they returned here .

My opinion is , by and large M's past would be ignored by the RF. She was the person H wanted to many. I think a quick google ( doesn't take MI5 ) , would say she's been married and had relationships before. But , because H wasn't dreadfully important , in constitutional terms - who cares, Times had moved on in that eg no one knew or cared terribly about Catherine's previous boyfriends.

I'm far less interested in M's history pre H than what she has done since a married in Royal. & Increasingly , I think she thinks she hit the jackpot.

Do you really think? Maybe I just find it hard to put myself in her shoes but I would be so unhappy without friends (as opposed to acquaintances) and family in my life. Not to mention having had a 6-year run of alienating people and court cases. And her business can't be doing that well, surely, which would be stressful.

I find it curious that she could really look at her life and be happy. Apart from her children, of course.
