Concerns about William and Catherine's friendship with Tom Cruise

Palace are reported to be concerned about Catherine and Williams growing friendship with tom cruise. They are concerned about them being recruited into Scientology.

Now I hope, that there is no realistic chance that they could be recruited into Scientology. But even having a future king and queen who are sympathetic to scientologists could help this cult. I do believe that Tom Cruise is becoming very friendly to Catherine and William to benefit Scientology in whatever way he can.

Are we criticising them because they are just swanning about all the time, not doing any proper work and just attending film premiers?

Or because they are not doing enough of the above?

I think it's that many in 15 years. It's British productions eg War Horse, Bond etc

It was a royal film charity premier for the Film and TV Charity, sponsored by Warner Bros. I think you are getting hung up on the Tom Cruise aspect of it when it’s really nothing of significance in itself. It could have been another film and another star/producer if that film had been the big film of the season. The last time there was a royal film performance fundraiser was 2024 and the film was Gladiator II. 2 years before was Top Gun Maverick. The one before that was Spectre and the one before Spectre was 1917. All films the big blockbuster film
of the particular season in which the royal film performance fundraiser for this particular charity was held.

Sorry, I don't fully understand your first sentence but if you are saying the Prince & Princess of Wales should attend more gala events I would like to point out that they need to cover a wide variety of events in different areas which can be clearly seen from their very recent activities

So, if my memory serves me correctly, they have attended a major suicide prevention event, visited the Isle of Bute, William has visited an area in Wales which suffered floods and some farms, Catherine visited an OAP luncheon club in Sussex and I think there are a couple more that I can't remember the details of. They are preparing to go to India for the Earthshot Prize

Throughout the year they are involved in State Visits, State occasions, charities, regional visits, investitures (William not Catherine) sporting events, events associated to their patronages, fund-raising events etc etc

TC and the Wales might be friends. That still doesn't mean they're in danger of being converted to Scientology. I mean, God forbid that people who are friends or even acquaintances have different beliefs.

@Dontpeeonmylegandtellmeitsraining to me William and Tom seem to have a relationship outside of just the two premieres. I do think TC is very charming but I still think it’s weird to be a scientologist.
