So, I’ve been thinking. (Dangerous.) Anyone’s entitled to lay a private wreath or place a poppy/cross/symbol at any cenotaph or war memorial once the main wreaths have been laid and the main prayers and ceremonies concluded.

That has been worrying me. According to hams archie is very emotional, cries a lot and very sensitive, hardly a rugby playing youngster. Some kids that play rugby can be brutal, my brother was very violent and even terrified the lads in his own team. So a sensitive kid will be hammered, poor lad.

When have they said this about Archie? If true, poor child. It must be hard growing up in that household.

Laying a wreath at the Arboretum would be tricky too - didn’t Kate do that last year? If do, Harry going this year could look like a royal visit..

He can't lay a wreath there, it's one place there is always an official royal presence on Remembrance Sunday. The request to the late Queen showed he hadn't grasped that the royals laying wreaths are doing so on behalf of the regiments they have official positions with, not as individuals.

Harry can't do anything anywhere a working royal might be. If it was really about marking the day though he'd put an anonymous wreath at his local war memorial, without being photographed.

That's from Harry not the palace. The palace wouldn't suggest the Arboretum.

I don’t disagree with your post, but sadly it’s fairly obvious which school this is. Given how easily identifiable the school is from the information provided, the school really should have invested more in polishing its website. From a security and safeguarding perspective, I don’t think it’s ideal to have staff members’ names so publicised with incoming royal offspring.

As a pp pointed out, interestingly the website doesn’t reflect much sense of diversity, which is unusual these days. If my kid was at this school I would be now very unhappy if any identifying photos of them were on that website as anyone and their curious cousin will be googling it.

HAM need to be really careful themselves with what they put out about the children, whether that be instagram or anything else which hints at anything to do with them.
And therein lies the problem.

To be honest if I was a parent at this school I’d be wanting to know what the school was wanting to do protect my child.

Our school took a measure (many years ago) that the parents didn’t agree with. The school forgot that parents speak. And pay fees.

Individually they fobbed us off. Then the joint year group email was sent. Then from another year group, then another. They had to rethink.

So it depends keep one parent happy or keep several parents happy?

I'm actually not at all bothered if some billionaire is funding their life in the UK. It's no different (except on a much larger scale) than couples whose wealthy parents pay off mortgages and school fees (couple of threads on AIBU re this). What would bother me intensely would be if the taxpayer funded ANY of it.

I’m curious as to how of all the schools spread across that particular area people have been able to work out which school the children (may) be going to. Just what was said for people to pinpoint the school.

It will take Archie some time to settle into prep school year 3 after growing up in Cali, without ever having experienced of the English education. I went to private school in another country but found the English approach at infant school quite strict and disciplined. So what this prep school calls child centred will still be quite regimented and stifling compared with the free range upbringing Sussex kid will have had. Lili is younger and it might be easier for her. The sudden arrival of 2 royal children in a small rural prep school is going to be quite the change for existing families. I'd not love this for mine.

There will probably be other Archies (I've taught about 7 or 8) but Lilibet is a very distinctive name. Which they obviously did on purpose.

As this US piece on fb today shows, H&M’s accusations of racism persist in the eyes of those who don’t care to look at the over whelming evidence to the contrary and whose narrative it suits.

H may well have very quietly walked it back to “unconscious bias” when questioned much later but what is remembered is M in her Diana eyeliner egged on by a disingenuous Oprah and he is happy to let this egregious insult to his family stand.

The way he absented himself from the part of the “interview” was always strange. Was it that even in his treachery and self obsession he could not quite stomach sitting next to M whilst she trotted out this blatant lie?

The first thing I would be asking for before there could be any degree of family reconciliation would be a public retraction and apology and that is never going to happen.

Yes there are a lot of schools. But also many reporters saying no not this one, no not that one. Oh and of course there's this one, but of course not that etc etc.

I'm curious as an Australian that there is school on a Saturday? What, 6 days a week? That's a lot for primary aged children. Or is the Saturday a sports day?

It's very normal to have school events on a Saturday and also sometimes teaching in private schools in the UK.

I believe it is because Wednesday afternoon is for sports so it is only a half day on Saturday. The French do something similar (half day Wednesday and Saturday). I’m not sure if it applies to primary age in all private schools. Universities traditionally half half day on Wednesday because of sports

Where did I say anything about Harry's bills being paid by others? Harry can pay his own bills. What others may be offering him - if anyone is offering him anything, this is all just speculative - are bonuses and freebies that make things a little more comfy for him, because Harry is the nearest they will get to royalty. It's not like he needs any help to pay his electricity bill or his flights.

I'm sure M will be gathering fodder for her next round of whining and complaints. The antiquated school system which is cruel to her delicate children, insisting they wear shoes and uniforms. They were told off because she is mixed race so there is inherent racism in the system, the other parents were nasty to her because of racism... her kids weren't safe because they went into the playground without a bodyguard and someone spoke to them without permission. She can have a field day now, then flounce off back to the US whilst she starts divorce proceedings, because ITS NEVER HER FAULT.
