I predict in one year, another tell all interview to the highest bidder. KC made Meg stand outside with hamlets during July meeting due to racism. Excluded them from Xmas walk, Catherine carol service, etc because of racism. No security because of racism and on and on

HAM are obsessed with the victim narrative and they make it their USP. They won't play the long game re: rehabilitation. They just don't have the patience

@IcedPurple I can see her booking “serious” acting jobs. Regardless of whether she’s with or without H.

I disagree that she’s not a good actress; she was good in Suits. Is she a great actress? No. But a lot of working actors are good rather than great.

I don’t think there’s a lot of evidence of her creating “a load of off screen drama”.

But the main reason she could book roles: it’s utterly naive to discount how much name recognition plays in casting these days. I could see Meghan getting a limited run West End role and the producers making bank.

Meghan's 'name recognition' hasn't gained her more than a few million Instagram followers, or large audiences for her NF shows or podcasts.

It's been shown consistently over the past few years that while she and her husband create a lot of drama and get loads of clicks, they can't translate that into profitable projects. People aren't going to pay money to see a show just because Meghan is in it. They'll get the 'good bits' on social media without paying a penny. And the notion of Meghan as a theatre actress doesn't ring true at all. She's never done this and I don't see her having the courage to act in front of a live audience.

Plus, what about her sekuuridee?

Mylovelygreendress · Today 13:30

Once I got over my annoyance about the lies and racist claims made in OW , Spare etc etc , I started to see H and M as entertainment albeit the type you watch from behind your hands ! Lurching from pompous statement to clapbacks to embarrassingly bad programmes to ridiculous “ tours” . It was all hugely entertaining.
So long as they were safely ensconced in the US .
Now they are back in a blaze of publicity and I am no longer entertained but concerned about the impact this will have on the RF especially the Wales family .
I hope William is ignoring the shit suggestions about reconciliation and I truly hope that KC listens to the wise counsel of QC , Anne , Sophie , Edward , William and Catherine.
It should be possible to have a totally private relationship with H and the GDC.
The RF does not need the Sussexes . Their titles must be removed before they cause more embarrassment this time in the U.K. .

No M and H haven't produced profitable projects, but that is different to her being an actress in a show where she is directed.

You can't film shows so people aren't going to get the 'good bits' on social media other than a curtain call.

Many actors who come to the West End haven't done big theatre roles before.

I do think people will pay to see her act, and that she could do a West End theatre role, so we'll have to agree to disagree on that!

Plus, what about her sekuuridee?

I don't know what that word means, and neither does Google. Do you mean 'kuudere'?

People haven't paid to listen to her podcasts or watch her NF shows. Indeed they wouldn't even need to pay, but still she got low audiences. It seems clear that she and her husband are of little interest other than as gossip fodder.

Many actors who come to the West End haven't done big theatre roles before.

I'd imagine these actors are passionate about their profession. Not a person who hasn't acted for a decade, despite living down the road from Hollywood, having her own production company and a contract with the biggest streamer in the world.

Soz! I’m bored on a very wet Thursday morning but interestingly there has been no Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Cadet Force since Philip died.

Camellia is Air Commodore-in-Chief of RAF cadets and Anne is Admiral of the Sea Cadet Corps, but nobody for Army cadets.

I’m doing a Mystic Meg , folks, and see Harry in the role in a few years time!

I can imagine Lady Louise in this role (W's cousin), and then one of the Wales' children when grown up.

Obviously, depends on if they want to. I think a younger person would be great for the Cadets though, and they could get very involved if they wanted.

The issue with the NF shows and podcasts is that people DID watch initially for MM, and then after an episode or two they lost interest. I have never listened to or watched either, but I have seen ratings, and there were big listener/viewer ratings in the beginning.

Theatre is different though. It's a one-off night, not a weekly commitment. And people won't just be going for MM, they'd be going for the whole package. And to see what she's like acting.

Try saying it out loud

Still not getting it. Explain please?

@DandyAF I might not know about Defamation suits 😊but I know this one.

To put you out of your misery it's "security" phonetically spelled to represent a whiney American accent. Not uncommonly used on these threads.

him in First and her in Economy

Such a gentleman. Not.

Well he definitely has form for that. Cressida Bonas broke up with him, and him being tight with money was a major part of why. I think the final issue was he asked her to be his plus one at a friend's wedding, it was overseas and despite inviting her he expected her to fund her own travel and accomodation and didn't offer to help.

THANK YOU!!

Security could be arranged at the theatre. Several West End stars have bodyguards.

Yes, they do, don't they? It wouldn't be a problem to get that. I suspect they've brought some of their security team with them.

NCembarassed · Today 13:54

I cross-posted with Reckless earlier.

Turns out Lady Louise was an army cadet when at Uni, so she'll know a bit about them already. As she does seem to live very privately, I'd be surprised if she wanted to do it long-term (or at all). I suppose it also depends on what career she goes into, as I can imagine it would take up a fair bit of her free time.

I can't imagine Harry in any role like that (or who would support it), but think a younger royal could be a great fit.

Theatre is not a weekly commitment, but it is a lot more expensive and far more effort than streaming a show in your own home - when you already have a subscription and can dip in and out, or switch over, when you want to.

FenellaFeldman · Today 13:59

I suspect they'll manage without Louise. William is changing the modus operandi, it's now fewer one off engagements and now bigger projects eg homelessness and the environment etc.
That is of course when he's not roaring drunk, assaulting photographers, playing naked pool and throwing women fully dressed into swimming pools 😉

This is true. But many tourists, especially from overseas, plan to see a few shows when they’re over, regardless of which ones. They usually like shows where there’s SM buzz or a cast member with high name recognition.

I’m not ruling it out. I suspect a producer may think about it now she’s back in the UK and not a working royal.

But then I never say never when it comes to the RF and particularly HAM.

The main reason you can't turn the clock back to cheeky Harry is that he never really existed. He was a creation of outstanding palace PR. But we have seen who Harry really is so that won't wash anymore.
I don't see how he can be given a military role, that would be half in and the palace is making it clear that nothing has changed, regardless of where they live.
Maybe Harry will finally grow up, accept responsibility and apologise to his family. I may be hopelessly optimistic but reconciliation and a useful future that is focused on others is the best ending for this sad tale

If this is the case then it’s logical that PR spin is probably doing the same for all of them.

There were many stories at the time that William had just as many, if not more. wild times as Harry, and fell out of even more nightclubs, but because he was the heir, he was more protected by the press and the palace.

William hasn’t exactly stunned everyone with his work ethic to date even though he is forty-four now. I wonder what he is waiting for?

And I am sure it’s equally likely that there are things on both sides to apologise for.

Edited

This doesn't stand up to scrutiny though.

Why would William be more protected by the Press? He wasn't the heir, just the son of the Heir.

The tabloids had zero compunction about running multiple stories of the actual Heir and his affair, the whole Camilla-gate/tampn-gate was from hacking his phone (if you believe the "random guy with a CB radio picked it up by accident I have a bridge to sell you) and gleefully publishing all the details.
Also the Diana "squidgygate" phone calls, the reporting of her involvement with Oliver Hoare, Will Carling et al.

They also gleefully published Andre M-Ws exploits over the years - Koo Stark, Fergie's affairs, his involvement with Epstein.

William was photographed coming out of nightclubs, clearly drunk. Difference being he didn't start punching photographers.

The Press have never protected any of the Royals. If they have corroborated evidence they will publish. Especially not in the era since the 70s

This whole narrative about how William was protected but Harry wasn't, plus the whole "William is lazy" is just a fantasy cooked up by the Sussexes and their supporters to try to excuse Harry's - at times - appalling behaviour, and his own laziness.

The role in Castle was interesting - she played the Fairytale killer - a psychopathic murderer who pretends to be a victim but is literally prepared to murder her friends in order to keep her secrets

The reason it was interesting was that she used exactly the same expressions in her "Nobody asked me if I'm OK" interview in South Africa!

Nailed it.
she only plays one role regardless of the storyline.
It hasn’t done her any favours really

@MrsLeonFarrell

I agree - hence my quotation marks. It was all a well-curated image, but even then there were some pretty unpleasant stories even then about him getting completely wasted and throwing women into a swimming pool at a wild party, or punching the drummer of the Foo Fighters. These were not seen as jokes by the victims. They were a warning that H's entitlement was out of control.

You know, the one story I would believe were Meghan to tell it post-separation is that Harry was similarly ‘over entitled’ with her. He seems very handsy, emotionally unstable, unboundaried, unprincipled and prone to anger. During episodes of drug use and drinking, who knows what he was like to be around? Conveniently his head of security is his ‘close friend’. But if those Montecito walls could talk …

Interesting from two people who put their kids on Instagram

OMGFG will they not JUST STFU? And quite, they put their kids on insta!

Nobody gives a fucking shit what they say about Meta or anything, except, it seems the press keep reporting and so they keep spewing their half arsed opinions.

They are really insufferable and need to be reined it.
