Meg will struggle to spin leaving her 2 very young children in UK while she pursues some bullshit vanity project. It's a terrible look for her

Interesting thing, on Emma Gredes podcast she was so smug about how she makes her work orbit around her children: that she does drop off and helps out on school trips and at lunchtime and does meeting in between. It was all designed to make her look like the perfect mother against Emma Grede, who admits she uses a lot of help at home.

Thing is, Emma has long days but she always has breakfast with her kids and is there in the evening for dinner. She openly says she doesn’t do their lunch boxes, that she doesn’t drive her kids to school, she doesn’t volunteer at school.

You've got Emma who is successful in business, who is very open that you can’t do it all but is super strict about being there in the morning and after school for her kids.

Then you’ve got Meg, no proven success in business who loves playing the smug mum, but we are now hearing will spend weeks away from her children at a time because of her role as ‘founder’ now clearly come before ‘mother’

So, they're gone? Really? You're absolutely sure? Yes? Good. I thought I felt a lightening in California's atmospheric continuum.

AcrossthePond55 · 26/08/2026 17:38

As far as H's future with the RF, assuming that there is some sort of acknowledged separation, If he wants to, I think he'll be allowed to 'rehabilitate' himself but with strict rules and absolutely NO Me-again. Oops, Meghan. He'll never be a working royal nor in the 'top tier'. He'll be more on the level of Prince Michael of Kent. There, but not 'there'. If he does attend 'a function', he'll be seated in the 'back rows' or the rear of the group and told to stay there. And it won't be top tier functions. I think this will be allowed for the sake of his children, whom I'm sure KC loves and wants to be close to and have a relationship with.

I think he'll be allowed to 'leak' a claim that he was 'wrongly influenced' without naming names. Whether he actually publicly apologizes I don't know, but I think he'll have a mien of contrition.

I think KC3 must have known this move back to the UK was being planned.

But knowing because M15/6 or the Head of Admissions at St Whatsisname told him is not the same as having been told directly by H.

Well quite, which is why I precisely didn’t say he was told by H. Others will have known about the move before 2 weeks ago, and them coming back is different to them leaving because of what happened in between, which is what I was about to write in reply to @bluegreygreen when your post posted.

Having been a defamation lawyer in private practice and now with a well-known organisation that has a lot of media attention both good and bad, I just don’t trust much when proclamations in the press are made by third-parties without hard evidence. Quite a bit of it is PR.

when Meg speaks about her kids, it's all how much they love her, etc. Performative nonsense. The photo she posted of her daughter at her feet before the Zurich grift (I don't even know what that was) was disgusting and Meg knew exactly what she was doing. In 20 years, it wouldn't surprise me at all if she was estranged from both kids

I don't think he should ever be welcomed back. He certainly won't if he's still married to Meg

The Alison Boshoff report claimed KC had known for sometime and PW had known for six months so to say anyone was blindsided is untrue, the thing is this claim is obviously from Sussex HQ and they are known manipulative liars who will feed some dopey “journalist” anything they want printed verbatim to keep them in the headlines, I don’t know what to believe anymore, but I suspect that is exactly the Sussexes intention, one big cat and mouse game.

Boshoff’s ‘royal gossip’ is full of poo and a bit too sugary.

I hadn't seen that photo so I searched for it.

"Disgusting" is a very strong word. Why do you think it is disgusting?

That lovely feeling when you wave off guests who have misbehaved/outstayed their welcome.... the door closing behind them and your life settling back into its familiar, comfortable shape.

Rain is Harry, miserable. Thunder is Meghan, the temper.

Of course, the actual rain is very welcome.

Meghan continually contradicts herself .... 🙄

In the Jamie Kern Lima podcast she made a big deal of spending time packing healthy lunchboxes with little notes for her kids

Yet on the Emma Gredes podcast she talks going into school to serve kids with hot lunches

She can't keep track of her tall tales - but it doesn't sound like "full time dad" Harry does any of these jobs ....😔

H’s loneliness and probably M’s desire to ditch her albatross husband are in play but possibly H is not that unhappy about his wife living elsewhere.

Is he really an 'albatross' though?

Yes, he's dim and emotionally stunted and I'd hate to be married to him. But without being the wife of a Prince, what does Meghan really have to offer? She's failed at nearly all her post royal projects and hasn't succeeded in breaking into the California elite. I also don't think she's an attractive prospect for a richer and more successful man either. So Harry is likely as good as it's going to get for Meghan.

I did at first think that the Great Return was a soft separation, and I've not entirely abandoned that idea. But I'm coming round to the theory that having failed in California, they're giving 'royal' life another try. Of course they could have had that 7 years ago, only on way better terms for them. It will be interesting to see how it pans out.

I think she is and always has been unrealistic about her own talents plus H has failed spectacularly with his recent court case, has the Sentabale case hanging over him, has lost his attempts to force RAVEC to provide security, his draw as a Prince is decreasingly effective and he is visibly miserable and aimless.

Not to mention his looks now give more mange than “fox”.

My point was that M could see him as what is holding her fabulous self back.

Reality is that they are both a waste of skin.

She will keep her Duchess title if they divorce so if he has outlived his usefulness she could see this as time to move on to pastures new.

Talking of Brum, the new coalition council of leftist pro-Gaza rainbow people is bringing in a 20mph speed limit. I mention to demonstrate that this is a different council than the one which wanted Ingriftus.

I can see why you'd feel that way. His words and actions have been two fingers up to the UK and its people.

But I think he will be. And yes, absolutely no Me-again. But again, I think it's going to be more for the sake of his children rather than himself. And I think the Waleses will be allowed to quietly keep him out of their lives.

This is not going to be overnight (if it happens), it may take years. And I think that if W is 'in charge' before it's complete, his rehabilitation may very well fade away.

Possibly to head off the possibility of a high speed car chase when Harry and Meghan are in town.

AcrossthePond55 · 26/08/2026 18:24

My further predictions from a US PoV.

I think once free of Harry, Meghan will be taking a 'Fergie' route. She knows that middle America loves a Duchess so she'll rift on that in a way that she hasn't really been able to do up til now. It'll be books, jams, and the talk show circuit to make money. With some occasional (not top tier) acting jobs thrown in. She'll be the Gwyneth Paltrow of Montecito.

PS You really don't have fruit butters in the UK? They're delicious on toast. Peach, apple, even pumpkin. How to describe. Sweet, bit of spice, smooth no 'chunks', and spreadable.

I think but the time a divorce is official, KC may have died. Too late then I think and if PW has any sense, he won't welcome him back. H cannot be trusted with to without Meg. He'll end up with another toxic grifter. There is no way a decent, functional woman would have any interest in H

Agree, it's all going to be driven by KC. If W is in charge H is going to be permanently, how do you say it? In Coventry.

As far as future entanglements with grifters, I think if that were to happen things would come to screeching halt and he'd find himself permanently 'out'. I'm sure this will be something that's discussed with him even if it's only "Your love life will be discreet and non-public".

As I say I think he'll only be 'rehabilitated' into the 'outer circle' of the royals and could easily be faded from view. He'll have no 'duties', no 'balcony', no sitting in the front pews. He'll be in the back, preferably strategically hidden from view behind someone's huge hat.

Now, whether or not he'll accept that is another thing.

Yes, I can see that happening! I also think that the Duchess title would have to be prised from her dead, cold hands.
