Predictions for Harry and Meghan if they return to the UK?

Would anyone like to make a prediction of what happens next for Harry and Meghan if they return to the UK?

Like with a lot of things it's often the lying that causes more problems than the issue.

For anyone applying for visas to the US, if you have issues like drug taking, driving bans for alcohol, arrests/charges etc, if you admit these things during the application there will likely be consequences - could be a visa refusal (which you can appeal and reapply) for drugs/alcohol they sometimes ask for proof of a year's sobriety with regular drug tests etc before granting the visa.

However if you lie on the official forms or in an interview with an immigration official and then get caught out in that lie later then it's taken much more seriously and can result in a permanent ban.

Trouble is they only have the "true" or "lie" buttons. The production team would have to knock up a "my truth" button.

And a " my memory" one.

In the past maybe but perhaps not with the current ICE activity where people are getting arrested.

With ICE, I don't think there's any risk to them they're too rich!

But I wonder if Meghan feels there's too much pressure to "speak up" about the situation in the USA.

I did like her, but its hard to take all the speeches about racism and sexism seriously when she's blatantly ignoring the issues on her own doorstep.

She's too financially ambitious to want to be cancelled or lose money or fall out with Trump or the super-rich people or the crazy rich tech bros.

Gwyneth Paltrow (Meghan did a social media clip with her) was in the news for hosting a dinner for Sam Altman (crazy tech person whose sister says he assaulted her) and then tried to back-pedal.

I also think Meghan is very much a Trad Wife, in the kitchen and the garden, the jam and the flower sprinkles, beauty and fashion and clinging on to her man.
This is a woman who was given the role of VP of the Commonwealth Trust. She walked away.

I don’t see Meghan as a Trad Wife at all, I feel that is just another persona she took on specifically for the cooking show and selling her jam. She seems to switch identities regularly and curate different personas, (causasian, black, victim, homemaker, founder, activist etc) she comes across as a great pretender with no sense of identity. It’s part of what makes her so unlikeable and inauthentic to many.

I agree. I’ve come to think that she really cannot help it - there is nothing ‘inside her’, no real personality or genuineness, and she just doesn’t know how to be authentic. It must be her upbringing amongst the film sets where her dad worked…or something, I don’t know.

I’m sure that if she’d had any real interests or passions she would have exploited them, but she hasn’t. Pps might say she has always loved food but I’d question that. Her food TV work is hardly that of someone with a deep and broad love of food- it’s gimmicky, shallow and all about show. Serious chefs would laugh! I think what she means by having a passion for food is really just about going to smart restaurants, which isn’t the same thing at all. I mean - who doesn’t love a wonderful meal out?

I don’t like her but I feel sorry for her in the sense that she’s such a hopeless character - you can tell that she’s utterly lost without constant external validation and adulation.

Actress - different day, different role?
When the engagement was announced a semi-friend said, "She's an actress." I thought that so was Grace Kelly and she seemed to take on the role of Princess Grace very well, irrespective of how happy or otherwise she might have been after a while. At the time I thought it was perfectly possible for Meghan to mesh in like that. I defended her until 'Oprah'.
I haven't forgotten the words, "She's an actress." It looks as if my semi-friend was nearer the mark than I was.

Meg achieves her ultimate goal of becoming Queen of England by any means necessary and having achieved this overthrows the government as is frustrated by insufficient power in the role.
All subjects are required to do the Meg version of the curtsey. Meg’s own children plot against her to overthrow her and set up a rival court.
Meg strategically divorces H and marries Putin whilst insisting she is the most compassionate, kind and bullied Queen in the whole world.
Thomas Markle has his title (Father) officially removed.
Only Meg and Putin are allowed to use the internet.
Children of the UK have a binary career choice, become security for M or make fruit spread.
That’s all folks.

Should Plan A fail, H is revealed as having always been in love with Camilla, HAM divorce, H marries Camilla, M sets up photos of herself with landmines and goes on yacht holidays again.
Marries Charles. Becomes Queen.
Remains Victim.

She marries Putin and tries to get him on board with her 'be kind' philosophy. She does a series on Russian state TV of how to live a California lifestyle in Siberia. It only takes a bit of 'elevating'.

Agree - all of their behaviours to date has an in/out on/off demanding, volatile victim, histrionic, BDP flavour to it all. Expect more and more of the reactive, impulsive and emotionally explosive tantruming. Calculated to knock everyone on edge enough for them to give in to de escalate the chaos by giving in. I hope the RF and MiGs can sustain the effort they made by holding the line they drew in July when everything was on KC3 terms and MM reported after feeling ‘humiliated and sidelined’ - that’s a very destabilising feeling for someone of her character - I expect she knows the games up and is depositing her problematic STBXH back in the care of his family.

This. She is an opportunist ready to embrace anything which will get her attention.

Harry will return to Royal duties eventually (and I hope he does). Meghan will earn her own money through As Ever and acting.

They will end up with the half in, half out that they wanted in the first place, and I have actually thought this since they left the UK.

I think that if Harry doesn’t stuff up his ‘probation’, he might get some duties back - those with military connections maybe. I agree Meghan not. But this wouldn’t be half in half our, it would be what HMTLQ suggested - so long as Harry isn’t sellinginterviews, books, etc

she keeps her career, he does the royal stuff only

I think this is time dependent. I can believe that KC3 has offered him a carrot to behave in return down the line for a restricted role. However it was only a couple of months ago that BF were reported to have said that PH’s ongoing bitterness was not building the trust required for a reconciliation.

I am not sure PH has demonstrated any improvement since with his screaming at the judge

There's no way he'll get duties back. After everything he's said about the RF, the institution, the Monarchy, the press, the judiciary, the security services?

She's very much a man's woman though, and not cut out for a responsible public role.

Yes I already said her and Horny Horner together. 😬 She showed her form in Colombia. This though is how her life has tracked though - get implants, get a suitcase job , sexy ads and photos, sitting on old men's laps , sexy hot girl roles in TV. She's at times an attractive woman and knows how to play the game in that role.

Yes, if you think about her acting career, treading the boards doing Ibsen certainly didn't feature.
All this clutching on to her husband and staring at him in adoration is all part of the same.
