@ProfessorofDarkArts agree it's encouraged by Charles spencer and they have his support.

His book won't be kind to Charles and im sure Spencer doesn't feel warm to the woman who helped to drive Diana to maddness.

I reckon they will live in the Cotswolds - they lived in a farmhouse at Great Tew before - and send their kids to the posho school that Zara went to.

The celebitchy lot are (mostly) very naive aren't they.

Even Megan is better off having a UK base if the couple ever separate. (And I speak as someone who wanted H&M to work out and bought her cookbook, but it's turned into a shitshow).

I'm not convinced this move has anything to do with book deals.

Bear in mind the costs for the ANL case are going to be announced to the public any minute now (possibly later this AM according to some).

Informed opinion is H is possibly on the hook for multiple millions - he may well have known the judgement for several days.

This move could quite possibly be financially driven (the HAMs need the cash) and the return to the UK announcement timed to take some of the attention off the costs announcement.

M - launched ARO, which became As Ever but hasn’t ever met the trajectory she implied it would have (going bricks and mortar etc) and despite her pronunciations, she’s clearly not done the “learns” and frankly isn’t putting any effort into it. How likely is it that she’ll up the effort from the UK? So what will she be doing here?

M - let it be known she felt humiliated on the summer quick trip to the UK

H - has spent years stating he is the most unsafe person ever, can’t bring family, can’t go on a train - even as recent as the last visit

i do wonder what has really precipitated the volte face and the move. I’m not convinced that they’re doing it for compassionate reasons (that wasn’t evident for Prince P and QE2). I don’t also think their status will change in short term - private not royal property etc. So it seems a hurried move with no immediate route for change in status. If KC3 is as others are suggesting vvv unwell I can’t see he’d make decisions that would impact on KW5 reign. If he’s not vvv unwell, why the hurried move.

if it’s money, what’s changed? They still currently have financial responsibility for Montecito and putative Portugal property. If they needed to downsize from Montecito they could have concocted a story and stayed in US.

Looks like they ran out of money to fund their current lifestyle after all the TV deals evaporated, losing the law suit against the Mail and failing to secure their place with A list celebrities to maintain their profile and cash in.

Using the excuse that the kids will go to British schools allows them to try to save face.

I truly hope they can settle and finally get on with life but they really need to dial down the attention seeking and entitlement or they will continue to be unhappy and cause trouble.

I think they might live somewhere where they can send the kids to the same schools as Zara’s kids.
