But they don't have the option to be working royals. They never had. Andrew wanted his daughters to be working royals when they reached adulthood and it was turned down - that's 15? 20? years ago. Because they are children of a younger sibling, they have no role.

Archie and Lili are the Beatrice and Eugenie of their generation. With the added disadvantage (in RF terms) of their parents trying to do a hatchet job on the RF in general and KC3 and William in particular.

But this is one sausage short of a breakfast Harry that is being discussed. Harry has never seen himself as an Andrew in royalty standings. Just as he didn't compare himself with the kings siblings for security only William.

irfgy · 20/08/2026 12:04

I feel sorry for William. He’ll feel under pressure to reconcile with Harry and after what Harry did, very few siblings would consider ever talking again.

NetZeroZealot · 20/08/2026 06:39

Good luck to them.

Hope they can rebuild their family relationships.

The education thing is totally believable, especially given Harry’s background. Would you want your kids to go to a school where kids have to go through metal detectors & lockdown practice is common in case of marauding gunmen?

In fairness my dd has to do this is her London state primary.

When he’s King he’ll have to rise above his own feelings from time to time. He comes across as a strong and purposeful man. H is just an itch.

I also feel for W&K.
Its clear H&M think they have a toe in the door with C.

But I do not think M will ever ever be back representing the Monarch in any sort of capacity.

Two totally different women. With different sets of qualities.
Meghan loves the limelight. Camilla does not.
Meghan could not play a long game if she tried. It just is not in her nature. She is a showgirl.

This is spot on and I would add Camilla will take advice and follow expert instructions whereas Meghan (and Harry) has refused to listen to a succession of highly-paid professionals who tried to advise her

PotolKimchi · 20/08/2026 12:38

I'm very entertained by the reaction of H&M supporters to this. It's a mix of:

  • this is Harry's fault and how dare he drag our princess through this.
  • Charles is dying and this is a temporary move
  • The RF was desperate and have begged them to come back.
  • They are now grown up (they were in their 40s when they left???) and can now deal with the media.
  • This is about the children/Harry's legacy
  • And then the unhinged ones: Harry is going to be George's regent, he's going to get an Ambassadorial role, he's going to work for the MoD,

All of it is hilarious.

The other amusing thing about this is all those trying to pretend that H&M are returning as some sort of conquering heroes. Whatever the reality of why they are coming back (to be adjacent to the royals, to get back with family, because Harry is homesick, who knows what), it is clearly going back on their pompous grandiose claims from when they left. And we all know their business ventures that don't involve the RF have all failed.

Those two are factually correct. As Ever is not a success. Her podcast failed. Netflix and Spotify deals ended. Only thing that made money was trashing his family and upbringing. And the second thing that is factually correct is that they seem to have gone back on many of their claims about the UK (how Meghan eg could never do the school run here), the monarchy and so on.

The only way to rehabilitate their image with the family they pissed off would be to lie low and get on with things. I'm not sure that's their style though.

I only honestly think you need to get a real life and stop commenting on people you have never and will never meet. Leave them be, let them make their own mistakes or successes. How does it affect your life?
and it’s it by the way not ti 🤗

AtIusvue · 20/08/2026 12:43

Yes, I’ve also had a look online at their supporters and a good few are shocked and quite annoyed actually. Bemoaning that they’ve supported them and they can’t understand this.

A good few saying they don’t believe and that there hasn’t been an official statements so they don’t believe it’s true.

It’s clear they are starting to see, what Meg n Harry say and what’s reality are two different things.

I agree. If they lived a quiet life in a village somewhere while Harry did his Invictus stuff and they laid low for a couple of years, then they could probably see their ratings rise and start to build bridges with their immediate family. Not a hope in hell will that happen - the hand of ham will be causing chaos before the year is out.

I wonder will the parents of new school be asked to sign a non disclosure agreement?
It's the school families I feel sorry for... imagine getting all excited for the new school year to begin only to find out HAM are going to also be gracing the school gates with their presence...

I agree - can you imagine the drama they will create, and the one-upmanship of the parties?!

And of course the crowds of photographers that will inevitably follow her doing the school run - which was one of the many things that put her off ever returning to the UK Hmm

You honestly need to stop being so ridiculous in suggesting her filmed segments were all edited and she didn’t say what she said. That is madness. You have also shown yourself up by bringing up my very obvious typo. But to follow you in the same vein a capital letter follows a full stop. It’s not the win you think it is. I would also suggest you need to take your own advice here and get a real life rather than thinking up very odd conspiracy theories.

I don't see how the school could do that. But let's face it the majority who send kids to £££ schools will not be the sort to sell stuff to papers, they are more worried about their own image and place in society

To be honest given the drama & accusations that they have thrown at people I would be giving the Sussex family a very wide berth if I had children at the new school.

Would the parents of Lambroon have had to sign one or change anything about the day to day routine to accommodate the Wales family?

I’m hoping this is satire.

The lack of knowledge of a few people who make pronouncements on the RF board is astounding.

Opinions are one thing but actual factual inaccuracies are quite another.

Alright that was imprecise; arranged to have her murdered.

I wouldn't have thought so. Surely its common sense you don't publish or distribute photos of other people's children.
But it might be part of the contract, you photo other peoples kids you are likely to be in breach which covers all children.

Remember those schools are likely to have other celebrities children at them and they also value privacy for their kids.

Hi, I remember you and remember you creating the term Ham for Harry & Meghan!

It was amusing, and yes, it's stuck!

We were on several threads together, I was under a different name. Welcome back!

Hello! Ha thanks for remembering me coming up with HAM. I must admit I did feel a bit of a thrill to see it still being used 6 years later.

Do DM me to tell me who you are if you like. There were lots of us on several threads, many penguin-themed...

I know regarding photos but what about leaks to the press about how they are on the school run etc?

Alright that was imprecise; arranged to have her murdered.

I would imagine there are multiple ways in which, if one had the resources to undertake such an action, to arrange for the murder of someone which didn't leave so many variables up in the air as was the case of the night of her death. I mean if she'd worn a seatbelt that "murder" plot would have been thwarted.

Honestly, I pity you if you really believe this is even remotely feasible.
