A shiny new thread to continue the chat on the Sussexes summer shenanigans!

To be fair @RecoIIectionsMayVary , if I inherited , or my husband did , a beautiful pair of earrings , I would wear them. They can be properly sanitised - so whilst I agree with you on many things on this I respectfully disagree. That said I can hardly see the earring in question owing to bad eyesight so I can't tell if I would wear those. I do like the Diana Cartier watch though . I just do. 😊

Maybe Meg’s realised they have to buy some dinner tickets at non-profit events to get admission and a photo op, so she bought some for these recent dinners? (Charged to Archewell obvs.)

He did say/preach on recent podcast that gym is very important for his mental health and makes sure he fits it in (between what, god knows and he didn't elaborate) but he absolutely does not look like a regular gym bunny

Regarding the walkabout at Windsor the clip where a woman reuses to shake hands with her has been doing the rounds again on X. Turns out there were several other women in that segment who also didn’t shake hands, which I hadn’t noticed previously. There was a teenager who kept her arms crossed and Meghan tried a fist bump on her (picking a young victim who wouldn’t react). I’d have told her to go home to her children.

I've been on holiday recently and also looking a bit portly! Doesn't mean I'm not well.
People need to calm down over gingers looking red/pale/puffy. It's not the easiest of complexions.
I also look sweaty fairly often. Doesn't mean I'm "unwell". I'm just insulted to life away from Scotland/Norway or wherever I'm originally from.

Charles seems to be close to the Wales family, and has friendly interactions with the Edinburghs and the Tindalls in public.

Correction - she started to raise her right arm to shake hands but realised the girl wasn’t going to so she corrected herself and gave her elbow a tap with her left hand instead. The next woman keeps a hold of her phone and doesn’t offer a hand.
I wonder how many other people along that line also declined to shake hands that day. I’m sure it won’t have just been that little pocket of resistance in the film clip.

Easy to look good in a black and white photo which no doubt had been 'enhanced' prior to being posted. I suspect the latest photos give a more accurate picture of his physique. That is to say, a bit paunchy around the middle, and the rest too.

I certainly wouldn’t sniff at those earrings.
It drives me nuts every time the DM and other outlets talk about a “sweet nod to Diana” - have they never heard of the concept of inheriting valuable jewellery and wearing it because you like it?

There was talk on X that it was in fact Marcus Anderson (though I’m not sure he has a ripped body either). I’ll never find it but photos lined up next to each other - the nose and profile were convincing.

Knowing what we know now about her short tenure as a working Royal, it wouldn’t surprise me that she did, she seemed to have little to no regard for the team around her, she thought she could do better than everyone else and didn’t she claim she had an American ‘work ethic’ as opposed to the great lazy Brit’s 🙄, so I could totally see her deciding that no one else could hire appropriately on her behalf and she chose to do it herself.

I have seen C wear that necklace. My dh’s dgm died last year and I was invited to choose something from her jewellery collection. There was a pearl necklace similar to that but long. Obviously the pearls and sapphire are lower quality. My dh couldn’t fathom why I would want it but I just wanted to own something so beautiful, even if it stayed in the jewellery box because it was really old fashioned. My MIL ended up also giving me the gold bracelet he preferred as well!
