I do really like Elizabeth and didn’t consider in the past quite how many names you can derive from it - Betty, Eliza, Liz, Beth, Lizzy etc

Like @Seashor my children have traditional names that have been used by Royals.

If I had to pick others, I’d go for James, Edward, or Charlotte.

I don't have children, and won't be having any now. I would like to name a dog Colin though, and there was a king Colin (967 to 971), so I'll bagsie that name.

Matilda. Maybe not British, but royal & a good name.

For a boy, I don’t really know. They seem to recycle the same few names over & over. Maybe James?

Will he be "from accounts"?

I have one of those disliked names on mn as it's a nickname, and is perceived as cutsy etc. I hope you don't judge me when I walk into interview on something that I have no control over.

Fwiw, I have a master's, work in a professional job and own a house. I don't think my name has held me back.

I rather liked both William and Harry (I like classical!) as possible names for ds but dd already has a Royal name and I was worried we would look like Royal obsessives. So one of them I guess. Although I like most of the Royal names. Both kids have a Royal middle name now I come to think about it.

I am a bit dull!

My friend has four children, and she named them all, including middle names, names used by my family. By the time she had the third, I gave her a list of all my family names she hadn't used yet.

When her daughter was born, she said sorry to disappoint, but I've gone with Matilda, which isn't on your list.

But I laughed and told her that my parents' cat is called Matilda.

I already have a Matilda.

For a boy, I'd probably go with August.

I like the name Camilla, next up would be Charlotte, and maybe Beatrice in 3rd place, the rest im not keen on.

for boys i quite like Philip but thays all I’d consider, but even then id hesitate as I don’t like the diminutive of Phil.

I had the name Camilla on DD’s list (think it was pre Camilla’s queen days!). So I’d go with that I think. Maybe George or Edward if it was a boy.

Henry... but definitely known as Henry.

Mary (well, I'd prefer Mary Catherine, which would use two Royal Family names!), Matilda, Alexandra, Alice or Camilla.
