A lighter thread for chat about Harry and Meghan

Thought I'd start a lighter Harry & Meghan thread.

Posting here doesn't mean you're a fan, a supporter, or that you agree with everything they do. It's simply a space for anyone who wants to have a more lighthearted chat, share things they like e.g. maybe it's a photo you thought was lovely, an outfit you liked, a moment from an appearance, or just something that caught your eye.

People will always have different opinions, but sometimes it's nice to have a space for a different type of conversation 🙂

It sounded like Harry's voice to me and it was very amateurish for a cameraman 😂

I am mystified why someone can't be with just their husband in the kitchen when they wake up?! Some of you would think I am a total sad git on my birthday then!

It looked a lovely normal birthday morning to me.

I don’t think she could have a massive Kardashian’s style birthday.

There wouldn’t be the numbers for starters. I suspect they would also have to be fairly careful about those they invite and they are also exceptionally careful about the images that are released - understandable when you are establishing an influencer like lifestyle.

The Kardashians are not the same. They are already established in the way that suits their business/lifestyle.

Everything seems to be heavily curated. I doubt that would be manageable with a large party? Who can forget H’s unflattering picture in front of Kris?

The privacy element would be hard to police
too and I would rather have a quieter party with those I know better - more so if the children may be present. (Unless she has gone adults only and the children are with someone else).

I can’t feel sorry for her because I think she chose this kind of life and I expect she is living it exactly how she wants.

I only hope someone bought her slippers as a present.

Talking of slippers that reminds me I like that they occasionally walk about barefoot. I am a barefoot person at home myself and even go into my garden barefoot now (once I have washed my patio down 😆) although not the grass as its too dry and hurts!

There are some great health benefits for doing so.

There are health benefits but all that feet skin depositing in a kitchen? I might just be fussy!

Having had older dogs I’m not sure I would be flapping about on the grass either.

My very gorgeous goddaughter told me recently that I had beautiful feet. I was made up. The rest is shit 🤣

I like when people pick something to be complimentary about when the rest of you is shit!

Gorgeous goddaughter had had an operation on a bunion so it really wasn't as good as I probably took it!

The camera work was definitely amateur, and made me grumpy because I love snooping at other people's kitchens and it was too wobbly to do that.

It looked like a fairly standard birthday morning for me, but then we don't have parties just something low key like this.

I don't think the absence of Doria on camera means anything because she is rarely seen and I assume prefers it that way.

I was looking at that bacon and hoping it was going to have at least another 5 minutes in the pan!
