Another ad on Instagram for jam from herself.. A dollop of jam/spread in bowl - put a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of it and then another dollop of jam/spread on top of that. Then crush up some shortbread on top of that. .
It looks like a really dodgy dessert that someone who forgot to organise the dessert might produce at the last minute! And she prides herself on her hostessing skills!!

Jam and ice cream...I would never put these two together.

It's such a low value item too...you'd have to sell an absolute tonne of it to make any money at all

I have never commented on George or what he might do.

At a push, that spread might work in a jam roly poly? Or is it just too runny and thin? I’m trying to think how I’d get rid of it other than on toast.

There’s a Nigella Lawson recipe for a quick raspberry ‘jam’ - you put a bowl of sugar in the oven until it gets very hot and then you pour it into a bowl of fresh raspberries - it turns into a runny raspberry sauce - that keeps in the fridge for a few days and is absolutely delicious over icecream and other desserts.

But the consistency works as well as the simple freshness I can’t imagine any shelf stable jam working in the same way.

And as ever, she's all alone. No friends. Wouldn't the kids like a bit of ice cream, even if preferably without that 'spread'? I agree that 'jam' and ice cream is an odd combination.

Then there's the dog licking the ice cream off her finger! Yuck! No offence to dog lovers, but having dogs in such close proximity to food is unhygienic.

And ice cream is very bad for dogs. Any real dog owner/lover would never give ice cream to a dog.

You can buy special dog safe ice cream in little tubs. Lots of tourist places sell them now.
