Are we being told off now, for daring to chat, on you know, a chat forum?

I hope RAVEC tells him this when he badgers them again, and asks why his need is greater than a series of former prime ministers. I dislike some of them strongly but nevertheless they have served in that role and deserve ongoing protection for the decisions they had to take.

Absolutely. Plus they have been privy to highly confidential information, they have often been controversial and their decisions have impacted millions.
Yes, they need more security than an ignorant, lazy, entitled oaf.

From the People article:
Charles has said it brings him comfort to know that Prince William and Prince Harry are able to visit their mother’s burial place privately.

Until Meghan shows up with her iPhone.

Catching up but I've never been convinced the Althorp island is the genuine article.

I think it's far more likely St Diana rests in the still heavily cordoned off to gen pop family vault in the local church alongside her father.

Yes, I think this is the more likely answer too. I do see why the Spencers chose the island burial story but if you think about it the practicalities seem far fetched.

My mum was a lifestyle journalist in the 90s, pre internet. She wrote two regular columns, and had regular slots in Country Living, the broadsheets, and even some Sunday Times travel writing. She even had a critique from Simon Calder.

However, she was not remotely a household name.

And we got recognised in public. Someone had a go at my sister and I on the bus because they recognised us and disagreed with her views. I fucking hated photographers, and I didn't even have a photographer at my wedding because of those experiences. We got recognised by visitors to our area from Australia because they were inspired to visit by her writing.

And I hated how she wrote about us - if you're familiar with Just William, it was like the Anthony Martin stories. She kept in all the twee stuff (way past the age it was cute) but neglected to mention the screaming rows she had with her older teens, or the fact that she used to trauma dump about her abusive first husband on the school run.

And this was the 90s! And she wasn't famous. The responsible amount to put your kids on the internet is zero as far as I'm concerned.

Is that Archie on the side of the pool with his face on view? He always seems to be on the sidelines poor lad.

There is a weird thing because to me "Archie" looks like a girl with a French plait - does anyone else see this?

LipglossAndLies · 24/07/2026 21:49

FenellaFeldman · 24/07/2026 19:40

It's "you're".
You know full well about their pronouncements about children and social media. You can't try to use some word usage to absolve them!
They've spoken out against it, but do it.
That is all.

I don't need to absolve them when their words ae clesr. So you're unable to provide a quote of him saying don't put kids picutrs online and therefore twisting what was said. It's wrong to them call them hypocrites because they aren't with tegards to this. They are doing what they said being cautious of what they share and you can see that with them choosing not to show their faces.

At least if you are going to criricise them do it fairly. 🤷

Agree. And if she fails to flip she could hit her head in the shallow water.

Yes - Harry is only waist deep in water so the pool is around a metre deep?

Has no one on here ever had their children thrown up high from the shallow end to the deep end? I'm finding this hard to believe.
Mine would go - what looked like - sky high, thrown by their dad, landing safely(ish !) in the deeper water.
Harry is an absolute twerp but I'm sure he's capable of chucking a kid in the air without fucking it up.

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 24/07/2026 22:06

He can chuck his kids around as much as he likes, I really don't care...but I don't need to see it. Those children are being horribly exploited and exposed by the two people who are supposed to protect them. I think it's appalling.

The deep end? She’s going to land right beside him, not at the other end of the pool.

You're right - the child does look like Charlotte from unless it is a very odd trick of the light or photoshop gone wrong

I am more than fair. I refer you to the posts on here which are direct quotes from Harry himself eg Serenster's for example. You're choosing to ignore the facts here.
Not my problem.

AND the knowledge they have. It is not just protecting them from their actions while in office, but also protecting the state by ensuring they don't get captured and forced to reveal state secrets.

No-one is claiming H said don't put your children online. No-one. What he said was " But from what I’ve seen, what I’ve heard, what I’ve experienced, is you should be really really worried, concerned and cautious about putting photographs of your kids online."
Not just cautious - really really worried and concerned . In my opinion just hiding their faces when their parents are as famous as they are , when there is no real reason these photos could not just be shared privately with friends and family doesn't really address , not just cautious , but worried and concerned . People are not claiming he said don't put your children online. Unless you can find where someone said he said this.

ETA really really from H's quote. I think it's relevant.

Mylovelygreendress · 24/07/2026 22:37

Is it definitely Althrop ? Lots of people on X ( I know , I know) saying it is Montecito.
Wherever it is , that photo looks strange .

bluegreygreen · 24/07/2026 22:41

At least some of photos will always look strange - that's the point. It creates lots of online discussion, which can then be pointed to as unpleasant trolling.

Exactly.
All the former PMs have been privy to state secrets.

I am disappointed the airline crew were not kneeling in wonder at their proximity to the Sussex family.
