Who takes holiday photos of their kids having fun in the swimming pool in black and white? Or adds that as a filter because they think it'll look better than an inviting blue pool? 😵‍💫

Noted, those look to like open sided baggage trollies...not uncommon at some airports, certainly in the US.

If I was pushed to hazard a 'where" it certainly doesn't look like LHR T5 because (and here a pp has a point) you don't normally end up that nose in.

I haven't been to LAX for many years but I do vaguely recall some gates/piers there were very tight for parking nose in and down at the lower level were I think brick/breeze block construction...but having said that I wouldn't like to commit to it being LAX..quite a few US airports are very similar.

And the parked cars and trucks parked mere metres from the plane?
it’s obviously an AI or photoshopped picture, the black window seal is curved in the picture as are several of the bumpers of the vehicles!

They would have gone through all of the doggy travel requirements prior to leaving the states in the first place or the dog wouldn’t have been admitted to Portugal. It means the requirements for the dog to then travel onward to the UK would have already been in place. All that would have then happened is the dog travelling to the by one of the approved methods. It’s not a big job and I suspect the dogs I saw on British trains over the last 6 weeks probably had it harder going from wales to England or Scotland than the dog in the picture did on its trip.

Something about the building makes me say it’s not in US. Specifically, the light colored brick and window shape. Also, the nose of the white car - not common in US where the cars are mostly massive.

The pilots don’t look American, either.

Sometimes the nose is parallel to the equivalent of half way up quite a short air bridge and google tells me the clearance from a terminal wall for eg only has to be a minimum of 21 feet.

And it also looks suspiciously like Harry was lifted from a picture of him playing basketball! 🤷‍♀️

I really don't know how to answer this...I'm actually surprised posters are digging in on this because I thought the thread was relatively conspiracy free.

1. I've probably flown that aircraft...I certainly know the flight deck layout and aspect as seen from the Flight deck door.

2 if you snap an image from the doorway of whoever is in the co-pilots seat the view is angle down and right.

3. If you don't believe aircraft park that tight, nose in at some airports I can't help change that POV.

4. Looking through the windscreens/side windows I'm seeing standard ramp furniture as seen some places...roof of at least one baggage tugs, one trolley couple of vehicles (legit, airside).

5 The cockpit transparancies (especially the windscreens).are thick and introduce distortions if you view off the normal.

That's the best I can do, take it or leave it but I'm dissapointed with how quickly the default is "it's AI.

I agree. I also though aircraft was parked alongside luggage containers, and it never ceases to amaze me just how close to the terminal wall a 787 or the likes gets before it comes to a rest in our local airport. Sometimes I’m actually putting on my imaginary brakes just before it stops. It’s the same at Heathrow.

My flight deck kids also call it the office.

Honestly, I think you’ve seen offence when none was intended and as someone who’s lived aviation for 50 years I’ve never doubted anything ‘itsimagain’ has written. I believe they’re the genuine article.

Wherever they are in the world given those pilots are wearing the current iteration of the BA pilot uniform (the piping around the top of the hat is the giveaway) I wouldn't expect them to look American..but depsite that there's no reason they couldn't be on LAX, JFK etc etc.

Just to add to the information about how close the nose of the aircraft can be away from a terminal wall for eg. The minimum requirement seems to be 7.5 mts but under specified operational conditions it can be less as long as precise visual docking systems are in place.

The 7.5 clearance also applies to the aircraft from its fuselage, and wingtips to any adjacent fixed passenger bridge or other stationary object.

This is turning into one of the most informative and off-the-wall derails I've ever come acoss on the Royal Family forum.
