She certainly is cunning in my opinion, very much so in that she manipulates everyone around her to suit her needs at that moment hence gate crashing red carpet events, grabbing the limelight at presentations and shoving herself in front of more important people.
I think she thinks she has all the power, despite everything being an utter tits up, others surely she’d have shut up and backed off from the incessant crap show?

I felt a little bit sorry for Harry recently with all the headlines - he is just a person at the end of the day - but then saw that his 'spokesperson had announced that he had arrived in London'....why??!! Why was this announcement necessary?!

If he is genuinely concerned about security then there is absolutely no need for announcements like this - all it does is draw unnecessary attention to you. Plenty of famous people come into and move around the Country without this kind of farce.

His father has been ill and I imagine he could do without the stress of all these headlines. Harry could easily go under the radar this week if he wanted to....with announcements like this he is choosing not to.

I wouldn't want to see anyone booed but I hope Harry doesn't get cheering crowds anywhere.

One last thought - if Harry genuinely believes he is in danger then shouldn't he be avoiding crowded areas? Doesn't this put everyone in danger around him? In a strange way it's like he's channeling that last summer of Diana's....I'm old enough to remember it - there were loads of headlines before she died. She seemed to be courting press attention.

I was just going to say similar, why would Harry want to be associated with Harriman, his name “ain’t exactly the best in the business” to misquote Top Gun.

Very very much agree.

A lot of rich and famous can drift through airports (even stand at baggage belts) without being hounded and then travel onwards from the airport without even resorting to the likes of VIP supporting special services.

Title seems a tad off ! , especially considering Harry’s constant foot stamping for armed security!

Given how obsessed H seems to be about security , frankly, the way he behaves , I wouldn't trust the dolt to lock my back door. 😊

Harriman is / was originally MM’s bestie. He has lots of photo shoots of them. I suspect she would have been at this event - but I wonder if she has frozen him out now that he’s knee deep in controversy - that would be her consistent MO for best friends.

I can see her dispatching Hazza to the event then feigning innocence afterwards that she had no idea of the controversy.

I do wonder if she's taking steps in the background for the inevitable end of the marriage. The more he torpedoes his Royal connection – doesn't sound like the King might even meet him now, let alone meet the kids – the more I think she'll be thinking about jumping ship. If he loses the ANL case today (his part of it, I mean, as I do think some parts of the suit might go against ANL) that's just one more nail in his coffin. I also think she'll thrive outside of the marriage, because she'll be free to return to acting, revive The Tig or do anything else she wants.

I think you're right in many ways, but of course she's 45 now, and these things are so ageist where women are concerned. The Trad Wife thing and the fruit spread doesn't seem to have worked out.
I think they've trashed more than the RF, unfortunately.

Why does anything involving H&M always descend into a ridiculous farce? I suspect it's all because his Ravec review has been kicked into the long grass and (I also suspect) that he's found out that he's lost his case against The DM, et al, regarding phone hacking. He's furious and flailing and this is the fallout.

I honestly wish he'd just stay in California and that the press would ignore the pair of them, because they're irrelevant nobodies. They squandered the incredible global position of influence they had and now they live in a mansion and she sells jam. It's been a spectacular fall from grace, but enough already!

I don't think she will ever return to acting. She is very third rate anyway and is much older now. I think she knows she isn't a good actress and wouldn't want o lower herself to audition etc now she's a Duchess. Her hope will be a large divorce settlement, but if H has no money that won't happen unless Pa sorts something out.

I suspect she's savvy enough not to have signed any NDA relating to her marriage, so she could spin the narrative that Harry has been a nightmare to live with, throwing angry tantrums, being controlling etc. And that he gaslighted her into saying what she did on Oprah etc – she never heard the racist remarks, he stirred up the issues with his family etc – and that her reactions were all triggered by his lies. I think the American public would believe her.

The only issue is the children. How far would she go to criticise him, knowing he's the father of her kids?
