Delurking here too, these threads have been such a great eye opener. Always loved prince harry (and Prince William!) And watched and loved suits before HAM got together, was a big supporter and happy when they got married. Ill admit ive really tried the last few years to come up with reasons/excuses for them in my head as I just couldn't accept 2 people with so much resources and opportunities could've ballsed it up so badly. Been reading these threads since 9 or 10 and flip me, the chances and goodwill they have squandered is crazy. Part of me is 'excited' for the soap opera this week, another part of me is wondering if this is all part of a scheme to get back at the rf and/or the UK. Though how they can do that with the amount of negativity theyre creating.

Just want to say a big thanks to all the regular posters for ur excellent work, I have really looked forward to catching up on all these threads, love the knowledge so many of u have - I have learnt so much about the RF - and the humour! Usually not one to feel able to contribute or join in much, but its such a lovely, fun and respectful thread.

Keep up the good work! 😊

It looks like he has won or I really don't think he'd be here

I think he is contractually obliged to be here as patron of Invictus

However I thought he was supposed to be attending the Invictus forum tomorrow - but it appears not

This is what I’m thinking particularly if he is talking about “victory” speeches.

Talking of hero’s and heroines of aviation! Wasn’t that the bought award where he accused John travolta of dining out on his mother’s memory during his acceptance speech?? , what a hypocritical twat! And another enormous bridge burnt!

He was vile to John T and it was quite obvious he was stunned

He seems to have dumped the "Living Legends" charity after securing maximum publicity - there was no sign of him at this year's awards....

The way his status is declining Harry will soon be on a level with the fake Prince Prince Mario-Max of Schaumburg-Lippe who he posed for selfies with at the Living Legend's gala

Thank you! It's great you could join us! I was an enthusiastic supporter when they first wed, and remember defending them on here! So many knowledgeable people make it interesting,.and I love the humour, too.
Squandered opportunities is true.

I was really annoyed at the press constantly comparing meg and Catherine, as I thought both had so much to offer. Hate 2 women being pited against each other purely for being female, and I always thought HAM had the better gig than william and Catherine - more freedom, less stress than being top dog, I never could understand people when they said meghan wanted to be the future queen - surely having a bit more control and options as the spares And also, surely even an outsider would know u cant just go in to the rf and take over!? Totally accept that it must be so difficult being part of the RF, the constant scrutiny etc, I couldn't do it - Catherine is amazing at it - supporting the future king and raising the next in line. But HAM really could've carved out a great life, surely?!? What a fall to take.

Edited for clarity - hopefully!

They could have had the most incredible life! Presidents of the Commonwealth Trust, meeting Heads of State and movers and shakers, all of the privilege, less responsibility than The Wales.
No-one can tell me that they're happy and fulfilled.

I think they are fulfilled when they are creating drama and chaos tbh.

Sadly, you're right. They're addicted to it.

I hope Meghan hadn’t gone to the trouble of sewing name bands into his underwear in preparation for the Buckingham palace laundry. 😉

It's actually astonishing and quite frightening tbh

I agree. She seems so utterly oblivious to how she comes across as totally fixated on herself. I also think she’s the one stirring up everything behind the scenes but presenting as demurely innocent.
Very manipulative and Machiavellian.

Meghan Markle would certainly like to be Machiavellian, but she isn't clever or cunning enough and none of her schemes work. She has achieved no power; she's lost it all.

Harry was photographed last night at the premiere of a documentary from his mate Misan Harriman called Shoot the People.

there’s a photo here - he looks angry to me.

How does going to a random film event square with London being an unsafe place that requires him to have 24/7 armed security? The man really is moronic.

He often looks angry these days.

The BBC have a nice neutral article about the court decision. Basically saying if it's a partial judgement everyone claims victory.

He doesn't see it because he does what he wants.

He looks like a man who’s had to dump his bag at Premier Inn reception rather than pay for an early check-in then hot foot it across Town to attend the event. 😂

AnAutumnCrow · 07/07/2026 07:09

‘Shoot the People’ is about ‘documenting global activists fighting for equality, LGBTQ+ rights, and more. Gain insights into their challenges and strategies for change through interviews and frontline photography’ (IMBD).

This is the same Misan Harriman who is stepping down from his South Bank chair of the board role following the row over whether or not he was being anti-semitic. (Harriman says he was planning to step down anyway, to be transparent about his ‘side’ of things.)

I guess Harry’s yet to book that flight to Israel to check out the aid corridor and the IDF veterans’ rehabilitation houses. Global statesman my eye.

OctopusFriend · 07/07/2026 07:13

Harry's story is the lead item on the BBC news. About the court case, but also the family
I thought it was slightly less fawning, although the criticism of KC was implied.

How did he not know this beforehand??? The optics of him attending this event are dire. What an absolute tool he is.
