And to think AMW was a huge embarrassment to the RF. H is off the scale

I don't think the two are comparable.

HAM will see this as a win though. The amount of coverage they are getting is incredible.

It’s all negative coverage though in the main, the comments below the articles reflect what we all think here, they may think it a “win” for now but long term it’s really cooked their goose.

Rhaidimiddim · Yesterday 22:20

Passingthrough123 · Yesterday 20:30

They won't, because MM is too aware and she'll know that BLT they are being ripped to shreds over the emotional blackmail. There is no way they can parlay the overriding hostility into cold hard cash, unless they do another Netflix-style doc about this visit, and I just don't think Netflix or any other major streamer will want it. Channel 5 might, for their 8pm naff Royal docs with even naffer commentators slot, but they won't pay the big bucks because they don't have any.

And, above the line, they've pissed off their WhatsApp MSM contacts.

They seem to keep bouncing back from
every failure though. No one ever challenges them , questions them or says anything to their face. I find it extraordinary that they are still carrying on with the absolute shitshow that is their lives. Any sensible person would have sold the ugly mansion and gone to live quietly off the radar.

But how much does that really matter?

No-one is going to leave the group, because they all want the information.

They might be a bit more cautions about how they write it up (throw a few more caveats in), but if they were bothered about accuracy they would have been bothered from the start.
They are writing articles with the intent of having people click on them to read/be engaged enough to comment.
They will be covered legally as they will have been given the information by the 'Sussex information officer' - or whatever his current title is.

Rhaidimiddim · Yesterday 22:31

Was he? As you say, it just shows you how busy KC is. Harry wouldn't have the first idea though. How on earth does he fill his days? Getting angry with everyone?

CHATGPT had him at Windsor Castle receiving Shirley Botchwey, followed by a meeting to do with the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting 2026.

MyDogClive · Yesterday 22:31

It occurred to me earlier that in the midst of the speculation about which celebs would be attending TS’s wedding, including a small amount of discussion about whether William would attend. No one - at least no one serious - suggested even Meghan as a possible guest. She’s last years reality TV star.

HurrahforHollywood · Yesterday 22:34

Ohpleeeease · Yesterday 19:52

More and more I think this is Meghan Markle’s doing. He didn’t seem to worry too much about his security on his own account, why does he now think his wife and children are at so much risk? Bringing up two young children in an atmosphere of fear and paranoia is unhealthy and irresponsible.

I've always been completely convinced that this is all Meghans doing too. She wants to create as much difficulty as possible so that she has an excuse not to come to the UK. There is no way in hell she wants her kids anywhere near the RF and she doesn't want to be either. So she stokes up all of this paranoia in him to suit her own ends. Meanwhile he becomes increasingly upset as he labours under the delusion that if only he could get armed protection in the UK whenever he wants it, he would be magically reconciled with the family, Meghan would be welcomed with open arms, and life as he knew it would resume. He is completely deluded.

Yes they are never challenged by our weak pathetic main stream media, that much is true, but as for bouncing back, they will never bounce back to where they want and need to be, royal adjacent, all the status, glamour and money of royalty is now a busted flush, they are finished where that is concerned.

What does the Court Circular say?

BasiliskStare · Yesterday 22:36

I go back to a PP ( sorry I can't remember the name ) but not only are H&M not particularly skilled in much , ( apart from being brass necked enough to sell the RF down the river for $$$$$$$$$) but They are not particularly likeable
And frankly if you are going to make your living from one of your families , who has given you a platform no-one else could dream of , then y'know trying to be likeable might be a good move. I cannot imagine why they thought the OP interview and the NF documentary was a good idea. I suppose they were still caught up in the "everyone is giving us lots of money for telling our story" without thinking it through.

Oh it's been said before but seriously I think the root of their problem comes from their initial decisions just prior and on the leaving the WRF. & then doubling down on the "I was silenced" H's court cases etc. They really have not helped themselves and I do think the RF have been great in their ignore , ignore , ignore approach.

But they have fewer and fewer MSM voices. Royston sees which way the wind is blowing. Tina Brown, sympathetic to HAN when Megxsit happened, is now a sceptic. They have lost Tom Sykes andvtgecDaily Beast.

More and more, positive PR is going to have to be paid for.

Not sure about 'bouncing back'.

They've been on a consistently downward trajectory for years now. Ever since Mexit. Maybe even before.

That's why Meghan is selling matches on the internet, and Harry is desperately clinging onto to any and all traces of the life he chose to leave.

Yes they are definitely on a downward trajectory, I'm just amazed they keep flogging a dead horse.

What’s BLT ? ( apart from a tasty sandwich!)

I think it's meant to be BTL - below the line, i.e. the comments on articles

They wouldn't come to anything for Camilla. They MIGHT for Charles, although suspect it will be all the same let's make it all about H&M saga.

Can’t see Camilla extending an invite to the 80th…

MM didn't want H and the RF anywhere near her dad, because hecwould have provided info that would cast doubt on the personal narrative she had cionstructed for H.

She now doesn't want her DCs anywhere near the RF for the same reason.

elessar · Yesterday 22:54

Ffs so now London is a no go but Birmingham is fine?!

it makes literally zero sense.

but I guess this is in a world where Harry is desperate to find a spin that allows him to do what he wants (bring Meghan and the kids) without conceding his point (it’s toooo dangerous without police protection.)

Utter bullshit really.

also to add, I really really hope Harry wins none of the points against the DM. I can’t bear the idea of him doing some smug victory speech, even if it’s all spin against a huge financial loss. You know the MSM would just report his words without pointing out the obvious. Obnoxious twat.

But - unless they're stupid - the WhatsApp contacts won't report HAM operational notes as trusted sources, though. It will be "HAM say that they'll..", not "HAM will be..".

The WhatsApp contacts will be more inclined now to protect their reputations and get the clicks from a spin on the info provided in the operational note.
