Is Harry and his family coming to the UK or not

Nobody seems to know for sure. Why should we care. Maybe he doesn't even know himself yet. He can't seem to do anything without attracting lots of press articles.

That isn't what happened:

Accommodation was offered, with a dealings of Friday
Harry finally said he was coming Saturday morning
Saturday afternoon he changed his mind and aid he wasn't coming
He then changed his mind, again, by which time it was too late for the palace to organise staff for his visit.

The press are also saying it would be tricky for him to stay at the palace whilst the result of his legal case is released but that is a separate issue that is being tacked on.

That's right. Perhaps with Harry's flip flopping they could have just said "come on, mate!". So no housekeeping organisation for him and his party, no transportation and no security checks.
So they're damned if the security checks are thorough and damned if it's bad.
Harry is such a petulant man child! Whatever anyone does to help and support him is the wrong thing, and his fans will continue to spead misinformation (or fail to understand the very basics of security).

He declined it before he accepted it.

They are protecting themselves and their staff.
There is nothing petty about it that.

I think the Palace have proof that one of the Sussexes has leaked something (planted Wagatha Christie style) and they've gone "fuck it, you aren't staying now".

They have ample evidence of leaking, going back years. This is about organisation and security.
Neither of which Harry - or apparently, his supporters - appear to have the first clue about.

By all accounts the palace have proof that Harry declined the invitation formally on Saturday! , the idiot sent a letter/email! 🙄

I think the optics of the verdict coming down from the court while Harry stays at BP would worry them. I'd lay money that he'd walk out the front of the palace and declare a press conference, which, given the location, would make it seem to be a royal proclamation of sorts.

He has form for this sort of manipulation (coming to stay because 'he wants to make sure their are the right people around his grandmother....').
All that bull makes the palace nervous.

It's also undergoing huge refurbishment I believe, so giving late agreement,past a deadline for proper arrangements to be made, probably wasn't going to work.

She wasn’t months from death at all when she made that request, at least get your facts straight, Harry left in January 2020 and HMTQ died in September 2022 so approximately 2 years and 9 months before she died and need I remind you she had an audience with Liz Truss 2 days before her death, carrying out her duties until the very end.

It really can’t be that hard to organise a trip of this nature, particularly when it has been on the cards for a long time. It makes the Sussexes look even more useless and flaky than ever. Maybe he has been a twat, and/or maybe Someone Else has been chopping and changing her plans to get out of coming to the UK without actually telling Harry she doesn’t want to go, will not go and that’s that. Either way, they look a complete shambles.
