I think it was OW interview were he said he pitied William and KC as they didn't marry for love. He worries about William's 3 children as they wouldn't have freedom

Yes he worries and feels responsibility that they might end up like him đŸ˜‚đŸ¤ª

Birmingham Children's Hospital, and the visit to the Chelsea Pensioners - the Royal Chelsea Hospital.

Ah thank you @MrsFinkelstein
That makes sense.

The arrogance ffs. Unbelievable

Another good public engagement to use as a gentle introduction for George - similar to the veterans' tea party.

A short engagement, with photographers, where he can get used to speaking and interacting but in a controlled environment.

What a lovely photo! George is shooting up. Catherine in flat shoes - yay!!

What about visiting her own amputee Dad in hospital - he’s also a pensioner - charity starts at home

Well, quite.

Can I just mention that I have bet a friend £50 that M and the DC will not come to the U.K. next month? ( wine might have been involved).

I couldn't get anyone to bet against me that they would.

They'll be here. They need it. They need cash and RF adjacency. The kids are used for emotional blackmail. Nothing else.

Not2identifying · 27/06/2026 16:27

I also think they'll come. Meghan won't be able to resist the attention and media coverage and Harry likes getting his own way and pretending to be royal. Archie and Lili will continue to be kept hidden from the public. However, I wouldn't be surprised if we see the backs of their heads with a regal backdrop photos published on SM upon their return.

I also reckon they'll spend a private hour with Charles and possibly Camilla but that will be the extent of their time with the RF.

Camilla would only be there as a chaperone

Would Camilla want to see them? I wouldn't if someone spread lies about me for money! I suspect it'll be KC only and I wouldn't blame Camilla at all.

Don't blame her. They've got some nerve rocking up after all they've said and done. It's very gracious of KC to agree to meet them at all.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 27/06/2026 16:44

Would Camilla want to see them?

I don't imagine she'd enjoy the experience, @MrsEmmelineLucas, but in her position I'd certainly want to hear what was said - especially with a husband whose judgement's often been deeply flawed

Do we know if a meeting is definitely going ahead?

I don't know. There's a lot of speculation! The very fawning BBC report seemed to indicate that.

It's really shitty behaviour for the Sussexes to stir up speculation about their visit and the possibility of a meeting with Charles. It's obviously an attempt to put pressure on him to meet with them, and try to make him look bad if he doesn't. I'm sure on one level, despite everything that's happened, he would like to meet with his son and grandchildren. But this really shouldn't be a matter for public discussion. So it wouldn't surprise me if he's unexpectedly busy when the Sussexes are in town. Even if he does agree to meet with them, I'd imagine it would be brief and rather awkward, and I don't see any other senior royal going anywhere near them.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 27/06/2026 17:03

All this briefing to the media really shows they’ve learned nothing, let’s hope KC realises it.

Yes, it’s very manipulative.
