There is a photo of Harry with his children with reference to Fathers Day . It shows him cuddling his children , with the girl's face partially shown but the son is turned fully into Harry and you only see the back of his head.
In most photos that they post this is always the case .
Why do they do this ?

Totally bored of megan harry bashing

millions of people hide their kids faces on socials for obvious reasons reasons

It’s the hypocrisy that’s the issue: eg if I were to be speak in public about climate change and then travel by private jet.
They don’t need to post anything about their children and given their stance on children and social media - why do it ? It makes zero sense.
The argument that otherwise people would claim the children didn’t exist is also nonsensical. Who cares if the media publishes comments like that? It is clearly so batshit that I’m surprised H and M even care.

No-one is interested anymore? I wish. Judging by this thread I'd say a lot of people are still interested - or obsessed maybe.

this thread has eight pages and Andy Burnham’s hair has five pages of comments so not so much interest..

I’m almost missing the ‘but what about Andrew’ crowd.

No ... please ...

I have friends who stuck heart photos over their kids faces and then post, the logic being sharing the experience or event but not their kids for privacy / consent reasons.

I also have friend's worried about their children's images being used in AI which I guess would be a potentially huge concern for the Sussexes.

The reason people feel that the Sussexes are hypocritical in this is that they have spoken publicly a lot about the dangers of social media for children.

Harry gave a podcast interview advising parents not to put images of their children on social media because of these risks (including AI manipulation) in the same week that Meghan released Hallowe'en images and videos of the children.

Be proud of me, I had to restrain myself from correcting "bored of" to "bored with" 😉

Better that they don't share them with the general public then. There's no need.

If they want to share the event just send images by email to friends/family?
why is there a need to share experiences with random bods on social media?

I am proud of you 💐
The other way about , I mistakenly typed hypocrasy instead of hypocrisy recently and missed the edit window. It is not to my credit I spent a fleeting moment thinking people would think I can't spell. I do think minor corrections can lose the flow of a thread so - Admirable Restraint Ranya 👏

😊 the number of times I see "would of" or "could of" and have to sit on my hands!
Annoying when you miss the edit window for grammar and spelling, though.

The problem M&H face is that they are posting these images for commercial gain as part of promoting their brand. Their income depends on their social media presence. Some years ago, the son of the author Julie Myerson criticised her for making money from an anonymised column of their family life, in effect exploiting him and his siblings. We have just heard a similar complaint from Brooklyn Beckham. I really hope M&H have a hard think about what they are doing and stop posting so many images and stories about their children.

Presumably the friends who are worried about the AI don't share photos of their children with strangers at all?

Plonking a creepy heart emoji over the child's face does not change the fact that you are choosing to put images of your children into the public domain.

AI is advanced enough it can generate pictures of children just from pictures of the parents. So a moot point really

If that's true, AI will certainly be able to generate far more accurate pictures of a child's face if multiple photos of the child, from various angles, are publicly shared.

So obviously parents worried about their children's privacy, particularly the use of AI, would never do this.

ThatLemonBee · 24/06/2026 18:45

They don’t want to show the kids face

KilkennyCats · 24/06/2026 18:49

Well, quite. If you’re worried about AI, why do 95% of its job for it?
😆

Are you on commission?

Yes it takes a real obsessed person to spend a considerable amount of time counting up and tracking how many posts are on a thread!! 😬

DaisyDooley · 24/06/2026 19:02

There is no way that Archie & Lily will ever represent Great Britain by working for the Royal family. Ever.
They have not been brought up here, they will never understand that fragile connection between Britons and the monarch, they won’t understand Britain and its culture. How on earth could they represent us when they don’t understand us and speak with American accents??
Only one of them has lived here for a paltry 7 months.
Plus, William will be in charge.
I’m going to say it would be a hard no from him.

You actually researched the numbers…?
The obsession is yours.
