Meg and Harry and all their PR shenanigans

Fair enough we definitely all lose plumpness in our faces as we age so it could just be that. But it's a dramatic difference in 8 years and feels like a style choice as much as anything. I think at times she has a Sarah Jessica Parkeresque look to her face now (especially at Balanciaga) whereas before it had more plumpness.

Apparently many Hollywood types now get buccal fat removal as it gives a more sculpted sharp cheek bones look. But the down side is they do look older.

I'm not saying M has had this done btw as I have no idea, but mentioning it because I think the desire for sculptured looking faces is not necessarily better looking imo.

Yeeeeees. It's a mystery, to be sure. How lovely for her husband and her children to read that she's had the worst years of her life for practically the entire time they have been a family unit. The kids will love reading that when they are older, I'm sure.

There’s now a short video on Meghan’s instagram of an anniversary cake and present.

It does seem an awful lot of fuss for a random anniversary. If it was 10 years, or 20 or something, then maybe I could understand it a bit more.

But so many photos and videos for an 8th wedding anniversary? It’s just a bit odd

Amazing really, isn't it ... should an image of Meghan appear which displeased her it's all too often made to "disappear", and yet here she is posting dreadful photos of her husband to her own social media

I agree. I was so happy about the wedding. I was travelling between Italy and Switzerland on a train that day and I was watching the wedding on my IPad. I shared it with other ladies in the carriage and we had a lovely journey. People would have a few minutes then make way for others and it was just lovely. All different nationalities just wanting the very best for them and wishing them a long and happy life together.

What its become is horrendous.

We now have film of Hay bringing a cake and singing with the children in the background (voices only). Then an unwrapped penguin sculpture and old photo of them dressed as penguins.

It's fairly cute, I wish she would drop the Royal titles and be happy as an influencer because i think a lot of the negative noise would go away.

Misan went on a rant last year about Balenciaga and their bondage teddy bear as campaign, saying how disappointed he was in his peers for not speaking out. I don’t think he’s going to be friendly with Meghan after her Paris outing.

I never really understand public celebration of anniversaries until you get to at least 25! But that is a general thing not just about Meghan

The latest video has Harry carrying a cake while Meghan reveals his gift to her.....two intertwined penguins!!!! So special a private moment that it must be shared for millions to see and be aware of their " normal", simple life!!!

It works for an influencer, it's what they do and why they can make money. It doesn't work if you are lugging around a British royal title and trying to be taken seriously as a philanthropist. She really needs to pick a lane, and quickly.

I'm hugely confused by the anniversary video on Instagram.... Who does a cake with candles for their anniversary?! Is this a thing? A cake to celebrate... sure - but with candles to blow out?!

Does anyone believe that Harry was hiding around the corner with the cake that he organised?! And singing to the tune of happy birthday?? Is this an American thing maybe? My husband would think I was mad if I came out with a cake and candles for our anniversary...we usually go out for a nice dinner or whatever. They are definitely trying too hard to manufacture something.

Haven't they just had two kids birthdays in the last few weeks or so?! Isn't that enough for anyone!

And who is filming this 'cosy' family scene??

I as is the custom in my house continued my legacy of forgetting my 28th wedding anniversary this year! , I wouldn’t want to break my streak! 🤣🤣

Yeah it's weird. You go out for a romantic dinner a deux for an anniversary. Not an imitation of a kid's birthday party, complete with blowing out the candles on a cake.

Good question about who is behind the camera too.

Also, the disembodied children's voices are creepy. But then so many of her 'happy family' videos are.

So now we know Meghan is already back from her big trip to Switzerland. That's an awful lot of travel for so little of substance.

@Starryfiftythe Wales had their dcs in their instagram post on their anniversary. That made sense to me because I guess they were talking about the wedding being the beginning of them building a family. However here we know that M must always copy the Wales family.
