I disagree.

The grey rocking is resulting in the narc pair scrambling to provoke a reaction from the RF, and everything they've done lately has fallen flat or misfired.

I agree that the behaviour is ramping up, but the effect is that the narc pair are being taken less and less seriously.

Agree with this.

I think that has been evident in the response significant players in Australia and the US, and will become more obvious as time goes on.

@jeffgoldblum - my archive link upthread is the People article

Not2identifying · 16/05/2026 01:17

I can't do a link at present but you'll easily find it if you google 'Peter Phillips'. The media is reporting Harry is not invited to his wedding as Peter's had no contact with him for a number of years.

Not surprising, I know.

I agree. The RF grey rocking of H&M is paying dividends. Nothing is sticking and H&M are running out of road / time / money so they are frantic. The clear blue water between RF & H&M put in over the last 6 years is paying off - as H&M nonsense stands clearly and starkly all on their own.

They have no new substantial commercial opportunities or cash flow. Their reputation is in tatters - they are not getting any ‘glow’ from any royal adjacency - everything they do turns to shit, every thing they say offends.

PH is facing possible huge financial and reputational catastrophe from ANL and Sentebale court cases. IG will blow up soon too. The RF need to put in even more distance for when the shit hits the fan.

So these are the same children that were used originally? It seems a bit "off " to me to be taking them to a foreign location almost as advertisements. I can see why grief stricken parents were originally swept up in the first time with this. Are they all happy with this happening again? Did they give consent originally which has now made this possible? Do they want this revisiting again after this time? I'm suspicious that Meghan has got herself onboard here with this guy and has been able to tout this as something she can bring to the party. It smacks of as " unsavoury" to me but why should I be surprised ? She is always doing unsavoury things especially when it paints her in her philanthropic role.

I thought H&M had offloaded this charity initiative at the end of last year when they restructured Archewell - they disingenuously said that they had only ever planned to incubate the charity and then move it on - but looks like they’ve drawn it back in again so they can scrabble, exploit for their own PR purposes.

This is indeed the case. It's surprising to see this.

There's another article in the DM about these people who had never met Meghan and who were invited to her wedding and have now distanced themselves. Oprah while still holding on for another interview, the Clooneys who were praising King Charles this week, David Beckham and Idris Elba . I didn't realise that Harry had refused to meet David Beckham during the 2018 Invictus games in Sydney. Well who has had the last laugh now.

Could someone post the archived article please.

I think Harry has decided (or is being egged on at home) to start acting as if he is a working royal and see how far he can get.

Harry thinks he is a working royal. He has never grasped that his status was derived from representing the crown rather than who his father is. He actually believes that people listen to his speeches and take notice of what he says. He believes he is a global statesman. These are all things he has said.

In reality he is a minor celebrity who makes political statements about what ever cause is in the public eye at the time and which always centre himself and his "experience". He is no more politically relevant than Mark Ruffalo (who is always signing celebrity open letters). When even Donald Trump refuses to make a rude comment about you then you really have fallen off the relevant list.

My point is that it doesn't matter who Harry thinks he is. Those in power know who he is and treat his babblings accordingly.

I try to be fair to Meghan but this really does smack of grabbing for the first thing that involved children she could get to invite her. Nothing she does suggests that she cares about social harm done to children.

Lazingsundayafternoon · 16/05/2026 06:52

Why are people still turning up or paying to listen to him though? Thats what I don’t understand. The media still reports on him too. He’s a complete irrelevance and so is Meghan.

Interesting. I think the reason given is weak though as we invited all sorts of distant relatives to our wedding - they were always an excuse for a big family gathering. He's just showing which side of the fence he's chosen 👏

Shameless grifter travels to Switzerland to scrounge free PR and quell inner fury over successful SIL while cosplaying academic clinician in DM photo that everyone knows is fake as fuck, to pretend she cares about online harm for other people’s kids while using her own to merch failed business venture and demanding secruidee to protect them from self-important, ego-driven, ill-informed opportunistic interventions in things they know nothing about.

Fixed the headline.

You don’t think the Labour Home Secretary and Foreign Secretary read the New Statesman?

Interesting that Spankopita was being clamoured for not too long ago for her insights, but is now of the “without a brain” class.

Just to be clear: I absolutely hope there is nothing to it. I don’t want Harry back in this country again, ever, and I think Charles needs to put his country and office before his family issues, and whatever sentiment he might be feeling towards his youngest son. I think it’s foolish and a bit “brainless” (delightful) to dismiss any of the possible outcomes , since we are all playing a guessing game, and the royals don’t play on a level playing field.

It's not the Home Secretary and the Foreign Secretary who matter, IMHO. The RF relies on positive public responses to what they do. It is public feeling that would be crucial to any return. The RF do respond to public opinion - look at what happened after Diana's death, for example. I am not a pollster, but it strikes me that the public have no desire to see Prince Harry and Meghan reinstated as working royals.

I haven't said a word against Spankopita, and nor will I.

And uses photos of teenagers with eating disorders to merch clothes.

How can she dare to talk about online harm when because of her, a therapy group for vulnerable girls, with visible feeding tubes becomes tabloid fodder.

The world now knows these girls have an eating disorder, their images are captured for ever on the internet.

I do not believe those teenagers had capacity to consent.

And she did it to merch clothes. The hypocrisy.

I wonder if she will mention that she is the most trolled person in the world? Yawn.

I do hope you are not implying that regular posters such as @BigWillyLittleTodger are brainless!!!! 😬

Ah sorry no! I meant the likes of Tom Sykes & Lauren, whose income depends on content and clicks, rather than accuracy. My apologies BigWillie if I wasn’t clear.

I remember it being quite strange at the time. Spankopita had us absolutely hooked on earlier renditions of this thread with fascinating insights for days/weeks (?) with all of them making absolute sense, brilliant stuff. Then suddenly she started saying how she thought Charles was coming round and Harry+family would be back in the UK working in the RF again before long. It was the weirdest thing. It totally jarred against everything she'd said before, that had made TOTAL sense. A few people directly disagreed with her and then she disappeared.

Perhaps it's a typo.
With all the champagne and cocktails featured, maybe she means "trolleyed"?

OMG Corblimey he refused to see David Beckham?? That is jaw dropping!

Harry would crawl on broken glass to meet David Beckham now.

Although Harry is more in common with David’s son, you know the one I mean, the one who did the flounce. Can’t be arsed googling,

And apparently he and Meghan were involved in coaching and supporting Brooklyn when the Beckham rift happened.

talk about the absolute last people anyone should take family or relationship advice from!

Perhaps she was doing some sort of market research to gauge public opinion - undercover - so embedded herself in the RF board and then once comfortable like the canary down the mine tested the managed return hypothesis - which created such a stink she conked out.

W&C diplomatic trip to India announced - any guesses where the Sussexes will decide to go?

Will we have an article from Harry on the partition of India and Pakistan?

Given that they trotted off to Australia after it was announced that the PPoW were going there, I expect by some mad coincidence they will find themselves in India before November.

AtIusvue · 16/05/2026 10:03

‘An associate says this kind of gifting from friends is very much the done thing for the Sussexes, whose money troubles have only grown since the end of their lucrative Spotify and Netflix deals.
‘They ask for a lot of resources to be spent as they believe it is a privilege to be in their circle,’ says a source, adding: ‘They think they are entitled to all the private planes.’ The source also observes that Meghan is ‘cheap’ or stingy in British parlance. ‘She is the cheapest!’ the insider exclaims.’

Its always been known that Harry is cheap and won’t spend money. I’m guessing birds of a feather? They can’t give their celeb friends anything in return…..there’s no private jet, multiple holiday homes etc. Meg wears what’s been sent to her as an influencer/taken from shoots. There’s been no renovation in the house etc. Either cheap or they simply don’t have the money.

That was what was strange. I don't think anyone thought she was brainless. We were just surprised by the insistence that there was going to be a reconciliation. It didn't seem to fit with everything else she had said and, yes, as soon as several people disagreed she disappeared.
