I'm just watching Charles's Whitehouse dinner speech now. He was remarking about all the US place names named after British Kings and Queens. He said Charleston was his particular favourite, "....and further favourites, Prince William's County and Williamsburg". Harrisburg PA didn't get a mention. Ouch!

I'm always dubious about unnamed "sources", but waiting to see if H&M will ever be capable of normal behaviour would be the obvious thing to do. It only worries me that they could put on a show for a while, only to revert once they'd got what was wanted

To be fair, Harrisburg isn't named after a British monarch. I can't think of any US places names after the last King Henry. But the "favourite"adjective applied to the William names was rather amusing, and I wonder if it was pointed

My own dad lived with cancer and it was debilitating. Stress a huge factor and he avoided it. KC really needs to manage his and he wants his legacy not to be an ailing king who couldn't fulfill his duties. The Crown comes before everything. He also appears to have a great marriage. I would imagine these are his two priorities.

I’m really impressed with Charles speech. So far, this tour has been a success.

I'm now just watching Charles's speech to Congress. I have to say, I think he looks remarkably well, better than he's looked in ages. Maybe it's because he's had to stop the treatment that was weakening him in order to travel? But I also like to think this is what Charles believes he was born to do, the sort of purposeful, "real" work he relishes and thrives under.

I thought this too. He's looked dreadful for a long time, but he looks more like himself in those photos.

There a few towns called Henry in the US in various states. Two place names which Charles could have referred to but didn't are " ... the James River. On
either side, at the entrance of this river,are Cape Henry and Cape Charles, named after the two Princes. "

I found Henrico County, Virginia, named for Henry, Prince of Wales, the eldest son of King James I.

If we could find examples, so could Charles and his speechwriters. So it does look like a deliberate omission. Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

Charles has been carrying out a diplomatic mission for the UK and Commonwealth Realms.

I do hope Sophie Chandauka / Sentebale have evidence that can link H and/or M directly to the Sussexettes.
